How do we submit pictures of models for potential use in articles?

So right now the answer is "you don't" - all the pictures on the site are personal models of ours or our friends, or GW stock photos. That said your stuff is great and we'd love to include it. Let us figure it out and I'll get back to you.

In this army showcase I talk a bit about getting back into the hobby as a mindfulness tool to combat anxiety and depression. Also there is a ton of cool photos and some badly written lore and stories about my marines.

Wing's talks about his experiences at the London GT.  Wing's writes these reports really well, breaking down the competition, missions, his plans and a good post mortem for each game.

JB breaks down the premier 40k Narrative event at Nova. Not going to lie, after reading this my jealousy of the people that got to play in for 8 years tripled right then and there on the spot.

Chu knows his Kill Team. If you are looking to introduce your 40k mates to it, throw them this primer. Also handy to brush up on the basics if you are a long time between games.

Same with Iron Hands. Read it for our hot take of "they have busted the meta not just wide open but totally in half."

Very nice article on the Swords of Davion and their context. The mindfulness aspect is something I've been trying to use my painting and hobby for as well.

Thanks mate it's been a massive help to me over the last 2 or so years and I'm really glad people are enjoying the Swords article. I'm tempted to write a article on mindfulness and paint it but I feel I lack the qualifications to do so.

I'll pass that onto beer! Also yeah, its going to be an interesting meta for awhile.

That one is sadly not on the schedule - it's a bit further out. We have a skills guide, a Goliaths tactica, a levelling guide, and then the Escher tactica over the next four weeks - after that it's a bit of a mystery!

Reading the new post about dealing with IH. Lots of talk about walking out of combat with IH Levis and still shooting for 2 CP. Is that strat from something other than the codex or supplement? I don't see it anywhere for IH.

Maybe they're talking about 1CP for March of the Ancients and 1CP to give the Student of History WL trait. Because IH don't have a withdraw stratagem

Doesn't really fit the sentence. The statement they made was to encourage CP expenditure by rushing the Levi.

I think it is referring to the March of the Ancients/Student of History combo and the author has just confused that with a different strat while writing it. I'll clean it up later.

Yeah, that's what I imagined. Suppose it means you can't really encourage CP expenditure by rushing it since those things happen before the game anyway.

Dawn of war 3 was really weird.

A lot of people loved the original for its large scale battles and traditional base building, to the point where it's apocalypse mods are it's current call to fame. Very 3rd and 4th ed.

I loved dow 2 because of its very tactical gameplay and how multiplayer games brought in a feeling of playing 1500 5th edition in a video game.

Dow 3 just felt like a worse dow1 with all the units getting special abilities from 2, and it just felt very artificial in its desire to get all the fans, instead doing a poor job of delivering on either play experience.

There was also a lot of missing 40k aesthetic due to the model and environment design, in addition to clearly established weapons like lascannons having a complete overhaul. And other things, like flipping terminator armour, or catapulted orks being reflected back at their trucks by angelos' hammer swing. Some really gamey things that I'd expect out of a dota or league interaction.
