Could we compile a list of BL stories that touch upon the DAoT and what DAoT aspect is touched upon?

 

So one of the Gaunt stories has a Man of Iron...forget which one

One of the GK stories has a castigator Titan...forget which one

Hunt for Voldorius has a DAoT nano-tech weapon capable of exsanguinating a whole planet's population

Perpetual makes references to DAoT super-weapons

Blackstone Fortress has a Man of Iron walking about

There's also the Ben Counter novel Daemon World, which has a DAoT ship. The short story 'Nepenthe' by Cassandra Khaw in Maledictions touches on the DAoT in a similar fashion, as does Guy Haley's Death of Integrity. That trope of the lost ship/AI disgusted with the imperium is a fairly irresistable one.

Ancient History by Andy Chambers features a character who is controlled by a dark age machine relic - and details the events of golden age/dark age etc but in a mythological style. I think it's also shortly due a reprint in an upcoming story anthology.
