I still need to decide on a decorative theme for my Custodes for the gemstones & inlays. Probably go with red. [sigh] red and gold, coulda just stuck with the angels. I’m using a rather cheap gold paint and, while it eventually gives a nice result, it requires at least 3 thin coats! Not bad. I've used Primaris heads myself and have had very positive success with them. Blood Angels aren't that bad though. The only thing I've ever had an issue with those heads was the hair, honestly. Sure :) It’s FolkArt Metallic Acrylic Paint (2 oz), 660, Pure Gold Amazon is saying 5 dollars (inc shipping) for 2oz but it was only 3ish when I got it.
