Width of Baneblade tracks?

Can someone tell me how wide the tracks are on a Baneblade?

 

I'd like to replace them with scale model tracks for a conversion.  Anyone suggest what scale would be best?

They are 2.5 cm or 1 inch wide. I happened to have replaced some Baneblade tracks with those of a 1/35 scale German Maus tank, but I had to trim the edges down a bit.

The normal Maus track, the cut down track to fit the Baneblade, the Baneblade track, and a section of rubber track from a 1/35 scale German Panther tank. There might be something out there that's a better fit, but I just happened to have the Maus kit and a little snip off of each side made them work.

Are those Maus tracks comprised of individual links?  How much track did you have left over, since you don't need a top section?

IIRC there's the 3 track sections and individual links. I don't remember exactly how much was left over but it wasn't going to be enough for two Baneblades. If you can't find another option and want to go for the Maus tracks, instead of buying the very expensive full kit, you can get individual track links from MiG.

Another option would be blood and skulls - they have three alternative track packs that are baneblade compatible - 1" wide and 13.5" long, split into multiple sections (one pack per side)
