Gaming History: Been playing Warhammer 40,000 on-and-off over twenty years, mostly Space Marines and Orks and tabletop war games since 1978.

Hobbies: Fencing épée and rapier, Armoured Combat maces and greatswords, Role Playing Games Dungeons & Dragons, and various board games.

 

Love warhammers, the weapon not just the wargame. Some friends told me how 40K was coming out with chapter books for space marines. Always admired the imagery for Salamanders and Iron Hands. Never got to take advantage of their Horus Heresy incarnations, but another friend had a few of the big black books from Forge World which are gorgeous.

Hello, Graceless. Sold most of my old armies, although my model bin still has some naked sprues. Thinking of collecting space marines at the moment, but there seems to be a bit more out here than I remember. Genestealer Cults look twisted, Adeptus Mechanicus too. Deathwatch were always a dream of mine. Space Marines, I would love a crack at Salamanders or Raven Guard. Or Iron Hands. Or White Scars. Dammit, too many choices.  

Getting the rule books by the weekend hopefully.
