Is this the official Custodes Symbol or are these Talons?

They've updated the psychic awakening faction picture to include everyone:

 

 

 

It is the corrected factions overview from the NOVA Open seminar for upcoming rules in the Psychic Awakening campaign. 

 

While the eagle is a standard Custodes symbol, the AC logo is still the Imperial "I" with the raptor head and lightning bolts, right? That ealge got lightning bolts for talons - so, are we getting the Talons back? Or is this just wild speculation on my part and too far fetched?

Pretty sure thats just the custodes one. What rules we are going to get with regards to psychic awakening is beyond me, considering we have no psykers.

This was my thought as well. Utterly confused me unless they intend on finally baking in SoS with Custodes.

I really hope they do add sisters of silence into the Custodes units. This seems like a good opportunity to do so.

As I play Deathwatch as well as Custodes, I can tell you that the Deathwatch is the last icon on first row.

 

Custodes are  the second icon on the second row, best I can tell.

 

As a person with 30 Sister of Silence, I would love them to finally add them to the Custodes Codex and bring back the Talons of the Emperor.

That's why I wonder since when it was the more rounded eagle with lightning bolts for talons. Doesn't seem right. Might be another mess-up from the community team tho (which sounds more like a slight than it's intended to be).

Iirc the rounded (Palatine) Aquila clutching thunderbolts is the personal sigil of The Emperor, so it's very likely that in this case it's used for the Custodes. Admittedly it's almost equally applicable to the Silent Sisterhood, but given they're not really a full faction I doubt it's a nod to them. Unless I'm wrong, which would be awesome because the SoS are great.

I’d love if:

- sisters could be taken in detachments with Custodes

- Custodes/Talons got a slight buff if they are pure Talons (no soup). Not too big, just a “shock assault “ equivalent maybe, so we can keep our distance from marines.
