From the Vaults of the Rock : Wesalia's Dark Angels

Took me a while to post it, but the heavy bolter guy for the Kill Team is now ready !

 

 

Next challenge is to paint those 2 scouts sitting on my desk with some urban camo

So... It took me 3 months, but the next update is here !
 
The scouts are done (minus the camo) :

 

And since I felt like I needed a ML after my Kill Team game...

 

And then 4 tacticals I just finished painting tonight. Not entirely satisfied with the green highlight (too bright for my taste), I might touch it up later :

 

I really thing painting 3 minis at a time is my current maximum, as it was always a pain to find motivation for the last one of the batch...

Off to find some decently priced cork to base them now !

After two and a half months, it might be time to dust off this thread with some progress

Here's a little project I'm working on and that has been on my mind for a while now...

 

Now I need to find some motivation to base and varnish them all !

Since I've ran out of black primer, I decided it was time to start building some terminator.

I'm still sorting out my bits and kits, but I might be able to build a 10-man squad of each flavour!

 

In the meantime, here's a kitbash for the Deathwing Ancient, loosely based on an old piece of artwork :

Nice work Wesalia! That plasma predator looks awesome - I shudder to think what happens when it overheats though lol

Deathwing ancient is coming along nicely too - will you be putting the banner in the powerfist?

Well, the ancient is based on this artwork so I wasn't planning on putting the banner in the powerfist, but now I am doubting...

 

As for the predator... Yeah I think I would dread firing all those plasma
