WarAndChaos Posted September 30, 2019 Share Posted September 30, 2019 I'm pretty much in the middle of doing my khorne army and at some point I'm going to buy a Daemon Prince but I don't want to just build it out of the box, but at the same time having a bit of a creative block and can't think of anything unique for a khorne daemon Prince aside from the generic stuff really. But then that raises a question of where to even start looking for models I could use as starting points, yet ofcourse there's still sculpting it myself and doing my best. crazy_tuco Posted October 4, 2019 Share Posted October 4, 2019 I built one out of parts I had left over from other conversions and kits. I used the body, legs, and arms from one of the rat ogres in the stormfiends kit. For the arms I used the ones with the giant spiked ball at the end of each wrist. I used an ogryn head, one of the ones with the mask and goggles. In place of wings I used two of the turbines from the foetid bloat drone from the Dark Imperium set. Most of the pieces went together pretty well and nothing looks out of place or off scale. The look of it works pretty well since my army is themed visually as Khorne marines with very strong dark Mechanicus flavor. Rules-wise they’re World Eaters with a heavy dose of daemon engines. Blood for the blood cog, I suppose. I like to think it looks like a brutish Chaos Marine in a jump pack was elevated to daemonhood. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
