So maybe it's just me, but I don't think the Eldar vehicles have aged badly at all. Can't really say the same about the drivers, but the vehicles themselves? Looking pretty fine if you ask me. At least compared to the infantry from the same era.

Build one and we can talk again. It has all the problems old kits have.

Responding here, since it's more relevant that in the BT rumors thread:

The Warhammer Community article makes it seem like just Craftworlds are getting the Successor-style traits, not Drukhari.

 

 
I am more inclined to trust the word of the design team than WHC, who often get things wrong.

I stand corrected. I don't often watch these videos, as I usually find they don't find anything new in them, but in this case, I was wrong.

Seeing as how I dislike Helions, dont need more Venoms and hate Vypers, I would have much preferred to just have 10 Banshees, 10 Incubi, Drazhar and Jain Zar.

 

As it stands, due to the minis included Im probably going to pass on this until they are released separately.

Exactly where I am. I love the new models and thought I’d get the box for sure, but seeing the contents I think I’ll just wait.

Hahaha, so a 5 man squad of incubi and Drahzar with a venom, so does Drahzar get to walk or do the incubi get to? I highly doubt after all these years that GW will actually allow the venom to fit 6 passengers but GW is welcome to prove me wrong.

Don't worry: I bet that one of the battleforces of Christmass is Drukhari, and probably with a raider transport.

I guessed also that we had a falcon with the banshee. I hoped it was a fire prism but no, it's a falcon (it makes sense but with serpents that we had last year, it is a bit useless).

The question is: how many banshees and incubis will we need? If they are a bit buffed, I doubt that 5 is enough. At least 10 of each...

It'd be nice if incubi could be taken in 4s to enable them to ride with a character. Fingers crossed. There will be hopefully something otherwise either the incubi or drazhar are walking from the box!

Personally I'd like two sets of the DE as the box carries a heavy discount and despite the hellions being arguably not very good, they at least look cool

My pre fall Eldar project looks like it might be on the cards. This is a great box...

I think all those models need is a CAD update and mould recut like the Land Raider got a few years ago. No change to the design, just cleaning up details and updating things like the pilots to match the current plastic infantry.

 

 

I assume you mean the Leman Russ and Chimera because land raiders are still the same old deal.

Didn’t the Land Raider get a similar treatment when they remade the Crusader into plastic rather than metal/plastic? I seem to remember they at least updated it to have a big aerial and a redesigned radar dish.

Assuming the pricing of individual chatacter and unit kits follows recent trends when they eventually become available separately, and the box is priced similarly to Wrath & Rapture, you're probably still better off (money-wise) getting the box even if you don't want the Falcon, Hellions, Venom and Vyper.

No, all the Crusader bits are on a separate frame. The core Land Raider kit is the same one from 2000.

I feel much the same way. I have 7 Grav tanks already and the vanilla Falcon is the oldest and least useful so I don't really need another. Ditto another Vyper. A discount is only a bargain if you want what you get. For new players for either faction, this will probably be decent. For existing players with a reasonable collection, waiting for the individual models will probably be better.

If it is confirmed at 140£, I'll buy...more tyranids! (or tau & admech & chaos) which are my actual building armies. The eldars were my first and most beloved but having to buy a big box to get banshees and jan zar (that I already have in metal) is really hard to swalloow.
