Plaguebearers bubblewrap

Has anyone used a unit of 30 plaguebearers as bubble wrap for a daemon prince(s)? If both Miasma of Pestilance and Putrescent Vitality are cast on the plaguebearers, this should make them very resilient no? Then using the cloud of flies stratagem, will protect those characters and potentially a lot more of your army

I've fought plague bearer bubble wrap loads of times, but Putrescent Vitality and Cloud of Flies don't work on Plague Bearers since they're not Death Guard keyword units and Miasma of Pestilence only works if cast by a Daemon Codex psyker (Death Guard codex Daemon Princes of Nurgle don't count since they have the Death Guard discipline not the daemon nurgle one).

I think he means cast cloud on his DG units behind the PB screen. Yeah I’ve used them many times and yes they are tough and hard to shift, almost frustratingly so. I was amazed they survived the last FAQ without being increased in price so bear in mind if you invest in them they could receive a price increase or a nerf. That said, new marines are apt at sniping out slopity or other support characters so... yeah.
