Has any one been playing this force since it released earlier this year? Really seems interesting taking a bunch of daemon machines with a bunch of daemons.

Any advice for this kinda list like best chaos faction to run them with(kinda partial to tSons since rubrics are kinda like baby Damon engines or spirits in armor) also what are the best and worse engines to focus on?

The best daemons are Bloodletters or Plaguebearers and the best daemon engines are Venomcrawlers, Defilers, and Blood Slaughterers. The best allies are Thousand Sons.

Before the Lord Discordant was released I found that T-Sons were "THE" Daemon Engine legion. 

 

Now? Its a little more up in the air!

 

With my Sons I use Forgefiends, Maulerfiends, and Defilers. I have one of each and usually take all 3 for various support roles. I have a hard time saying which is "best" due to varying uses but the Defiler usually wins out. The extra wounds (14 compared to 12) and its built in battle-cannon have proved VERY useful along with a large number of solid attacks (flail and fists). 

 

Which legion to use them with? Well if you plan on using 1k Sons anyways then just take them as part of a Thousand Sons army, I do and I function very well in semi-competitive metas and Casual metas. Though I know some here lack the luxury of not having to throw down at max output all the time. Your unit buffing casters are well hidden as being Characters and you can make good use of spell buffs for various units and you can change targets per turn with each cast. So they mix very well with the Thousand Sons and us having easy access to 3 separate lores (all of which have easy access to buffs) is a great point in favor of the T-sons. 

 

One build for a more generalized Daemon Engine list is taking multiple engines and 1-3 Lord Discordants. I only own one and i support it with a Dark Apostle for -1 to be shot. Though some take 2-3 to make sure they have plenty of saturation which is also good. They are a common Tourney unit for a reason. However that leaves up to you what legion from the main chaos book they will be a part of. Red Corsairs is a decent option, Alpha Legion is also another good option.
