BolterZorro
I'm speaking here about GW LoW, not FW. Several armies, almost all main ones, have their LoW unit, some have severals. I'm really surpised that such a popular army like tyranid not having one. Even worse, the FW one is pysically not usable, not convenient (too big, too fragile, no base etc...). I think that Tyranids need one proper Lord of War. A tall bug with at least 2 builds and a bunch of weapons. In term of sales, I'm pretty sure that it'd be a bargain for GW. They'd sell tons of them and they'd make even more tyranids sales. A kit like a IK kit, a mini the size of a knight or taller if standing (like a bigger mawloc) and larger if rampant (like a bigger exocrine/tyranofex). So, why do you think that it never happened before? Why no LoW? As a side note, I'd be glad to see also some kind of super brainy bug (like in Starship troopers) with special abilities. (but not named char, please)
Arson Fire
It's irked me a bit for a long time actually. Tyranids are the monster army, yet regularly get overlooked when it comes time to hand out big monsters. When they do occasionally get some, they usually range from mediocre to completely awful. Even back in 7th when everyone was complaining about how broken the monstrous creature rules were, GW still managed to make the tyranid ones suck. Anyway, for a new LoW a Dominatrix is the obvious pick. They're still mentioned regularly in the fluff. No version of it is already being produced by FW, so they wouldn't be cutting into their other sales channel if they released one. As a gigantic brain bug it might fit in with the 'psychic awakening' thing they're running at the moment. BolterZorro
That's what I was thinking about when I read that PA 3 get tyranids inside it. Fingers crossed but I don't beleive it.
Evil Eye
I'd really like a plastic Hierodule. The old FW model just doesn't fit in with modern Tyranid aesthetics anymore, which is a shame as it's an awesome model, but even next to the Hierophant it looks out of place. Also, IIRC it's a decent tabletop unit, and having it be more "accessible" and also with more options potentially would be cool. The Dominatrix I'd absolutely love to see made in 28mm scaled plastic form. It's been in the lore for decades and still has yet to get a proper model. There are a few Tyranid beasties from the card game I'd like to see made, notably the Cerebore (meant as a big transport creature, maybe have it like a living Mastodon?), the Nautiloid (could work as an organic super-heavy tank/artillery piece) and the Viciator (size unclear but could work as a Knight equivalent, it certainly looks like one). Triszin
I think tyranid will get a LoW in the next 3 years. Tiamet, I think will produce a few super tyranids that will be "aspects" of the hivemind/hive fleets that will be primarch tier. Utterly Alien, eldritch clthulu style monsters.
