Iron Hands, Ferrus Manus, Guilliman & Primaris

Just curious if any other chapters view their own primarch with disapproval like the Iron Hands do. Anyone know?

After reading the Wiki on Iron Hands I got the impression that the Iron Hands view Ferrus Manus as an example not to follow. That they feel he let his emotions get the better of him and that is why he died. So they have gone full-tilt into analytical and logical thinking. It is a really interesting view as the Iron Hands had to cope with not only losing their Primarch but realizing that the idols they held dear were fallible. Not just from their own primarch letting his emotions cause his dead but also the other primarchs and their fall to chaos. It makes me wonder how the Iron Hands reacted to Guilliman coming back. The Blood Angels revere him as seen in Devastation of Baal. But I think the Iron Hands would be kind of stand-offish. I think they would accept the primaris upgrades willingly as it would be logical to accept a better system to craft their warriors with even if it was going to be replaced with metal. But it makes me wonder. Anyone know of any canon that covers this?

No fluff that I have read (I think the newest is the codex and the Guymer books which I've read).

I do believe some in the Iron Hands may respect Guilleman as much as Ferrus Manus.  Guilleman's a renowned tactician and strategist, after all.  Really, out of all the primarchs, Guilleman and Dorn would probably be the most agreeable to Iron Hands marines.

I do think you're correct, though, in that Iron Hands would be more likely than any other loyalists to see through the BS of primarchs being demigods.

In the new supplement, the Iron Hands are stated to have sent myriad technical revisions to the Codex Astartes to Guilliman since his resurrection, though his reaction to them is unknown.

And they give a huge Iron Middlefinger to crusade command (with Girlyman at the head) when ordered to retreat and leave vital worlds to chaos. The retreat being ordered based on Eldar prophecies, which created a self-fulfilling prophecy, being viewed as a mistake the IH and allies/successors started to correct on their own crusade, with success.

So I doubt they have a too high opinion of G-man, given his weakness giving in to unreliable xenos prophecies.
