Any chance those larger chaos cultists are somewhere around "marine" size? They all have Chain-Axes. Could make some decent Zerkers with the way they look! (bare arms suits the World Eaters anyways!)

Maybe not marine size, but definitely larger. The bigger ones are on 32mm bases, but don't 'spill over' the bases like the Goliaths (larger than old Marines) do.

All looks neat, especially the terrain. I've been holding off on buying any Necro stuff as the models seem noticeably larger than 40k; does anyone know if they mix well enough or do they look ridiculous?

Depends on the models.

Eschers and Goliaths are noticeably tall (because vat-grown meatheads and Amazons), and I think the Delaque gang is also pretty tall. But all the other models are human size (Cawdor are very often used for making Chaos Cultists)

Am I the only one that thinks the guys with their heads covered up look like they are hiding a stylised khrone helm?

It looks like it could be the khrone symbol.

You think?  Take a closer look at their name and their weapons.  I think it's quite clear what they are.

The bigger cultists with masks look good, the other ones not so much.

The scenery and models look amazing but is that... ...another paper mat? I do not like where this is heading, spending another 30-40 for the mat that should be in the box.

Yeah, that is NOT a plastic ZM board, the pics have the shiny laminated paper-tiles but the ones in the video are FW resin ZM tiles. If you look closely they are a bit uneven and have the exact paintjob and weathering of the FW studio board.

That looks like cardboard tiles or a paper mat. Makes me wonder if a zone mortalis kit with plastic floor will be available separately later.

I hope we'll get more solid info on pricing & box contents soon.

Meat Grinders look so-so, think I’ll need to see them in person before I get a good idea about them.
Modular ZM looks awesome!
Shields look really spot on as well.

All in all, everything looks cool.

I suspect there will be a card board in the box to save on cost and the plastic boards released separately, the ones in the video certainly resemble the resin ZM tiles but they aint them to my eyes, especially the ones mixed in the shots with walls etc on them.

I really hope the railings on the Zone Mortalis terrain modular.

They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mould them, and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them. They will have tactics, strategies and machines so that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear.

I was not expecting the plastic tiles at all what I am worrying about is that its Aeronautica Imperialis all over again with a paper mat. I would love them to be thick cardboard like the original, those things will last for years. If its another paper mat it will last two weeks if you are lucky.

Either the Warcry (150 EUR?) or the Blood of the Phoenix (180 EUR) price bracket. With 26 models, similiar to 5 of the current gang sprues, a mass of new scenery sprues, at least one accessory scenery sprue, plus all the other boxed game content, I can hardly see this being sold at 105 or 125 EUR.

Warcry price would be ideal. Warcry was a great deal, especially after discounts.

The board tiles are not the Forge World ones. I can't upload an image, but there are details (like runners, etc.) that don't exist on the FW ones, and they look like they're painted with contrast. Would be strange to repaint an OOP board for this preview video.

The tiles in the announcement trailer are definitely not the resin ones when you compare them side by side with the resin ZM tiles.

Your opinion is important, and someone posting here probably does care what you think. You should go tell them. Remember that it really hurts to come up with an idea you care about and have no one else care. Go care about something and tell them what you think. Now. Think of what it would have meant to you when you were young.
