Sooooo... back in August, I had my birthday. For my birthday, I got the Eldar Apoc box. I built it, did a couple test models... and set it aside entirely. I've played it once, ever, as a 40k army. I'm gonna record my Eldar - my first full Xenos army (my 'Nids KT doesn't count) - right here. Games, painting, general progress. I'm doing this, Word Bearers and Raven Guard all at once; keeps me busy and keeps me from getting burnt out on any one project.

Edit: By the way, if anyone wants, like, paint recipes, or has any questions, say so. I'm bored and usually check in on the forum maybe every 5-20 minutes depending on how intensely bored I am if I'm at my computer.

Did a couple models in Ulthwe colors, they turned out alright. I watched Duncan's tutorial on Eldrad, and now I want an Eldrad. Eldrad versus Shrike thousand-point, anyone?

Yeeeeeah... I know Ulthwe and Raven Guard share some colors. Means I need a smaller set of colors. Which is good. Because I'm cheap, and also I'm working a minimum-wage job with low hours.

Edit because forgot the pic.

Eldar was my first army back in '99, although I never really got into the painting side as I bought it fully painted. I often thought about doing an Ulthwe army now I'm back with the hobby and have started painting. Even managed a wave serpent in their colours a couple of years back.

As with many, I keep changing my mind on the colour scheme and have now settled on a craftworld Mymeara host. Although with the rise of the Ynnari I may do a little Aeldari soup force.

I'm liking your test models and look forward to seeing more!

They definitely show your craft world choice. They will look great when completed on the table.

I have come to kick ass and chew bubble gum! And I'm fresh outta bubble gum.

I like the way they pop.
