It's not over the top with blood and guts and gore. Its more subtle in its terror and plays on the protagonist's fears. Reminds me of a story called "Into the Maelstrom", where Huron comes up with a similar, terror inducing fate for an Astral Claw's librarian who seeks to return to the Emperor's light and tries defecting to the Imperium. The difference is Huron seeks to punish the traitor, where as this simply another Tuesday morning after breakfast for our Dark Eldar antagonist. Both stories are worth a read, but Red Corsairs one will probably need a little hunting down to find. And Tu'Shan has shown there are ways of dealing with you Dark Eldar scum. You lot thrive on sensation, and being tortured is just as pleasurable you lot as doing the torturing, so lock one of you in a cold steel box deprived of your senses for all eternity while you're driven mad and while She Who Thirsts slowly consumes you.
