It wouldn’t be a Warhammer event without some exclusive models available to purchase, and at AdeptiCon 2020, for the first time, you’ll be able to get your hands on two!

Knight-Questor Dacian Anvil will be making an appearance for Warhammer Age of Sigmar collectors, while Warhammer 40,000 fans can bolster their Adeptus Astartes forces with this resplendent Librarian in Terminator Armour. If you’re picking up one of the AdeptiCon VIG (that’s “Very Important Gamer”) swag bags, you’ll find both of these models inside! If not, you can get them inside the event. There will also be other Warhammer goodies in the swag bags, so be sure not to miss out.

Very cool pose and maybe this will shut people up about no more old marines ;)

Your opinion is important, and someone posting here probably does care what you think. You should go tell them. Remember that it really hurts to come up with an idea you care about and have no one else care. Go care about something and tell them what you think. Now. Think of what it would have meant to you when you were young.

Lol grasping at straws there Charlo.
It's not a thing I can go to my local store to pick up.
Nor I would, it's a filthy witch. ;)

I suppose the new edition will be announced there? The wording is similar to when 8th dropped, if I'm not mistaken.

2020’s AdeptiCon Warhammer Preview is going to be the BIGGEST and BEST Warhammer preview EVER. In fact, it’s so massive that we’ve commandeered more space, so we can fit in as many Warhammer fans as possible to experience the sheer majesty of the reveals.

That's the 9th edition announcement all but confirmed then, eh?

You'd be forgiven for having forgotten him, he was teased all the way back in march. I was gonna ask "Wait, another one, is this the third one now?" before I realized it was the one we'd seen way back.

I mean considering how unlikely that is and what it would mean in-universe ... I think there would be only a handful of bigger things they could possibly announce (among them being the Emperor coming back and getting a model, and the setting ending like it happened to warhammer fantasy). :D

GW getting the hype train started early, eh? I suppose it'll need some time to build up a head of steam... Anyway, I'm going to speculate about a new army getting teased at the preview - ideally new Xenos or new Chaos. ohmy.png

On a moderation note, don't expect this particular thread to stay open until (let's see)... late March. Have a bit of fun, don't get into any fights, we'll likely close this on Monday.

That’s an awesome model, I must have it, looks great painted. New classic marine models are always welcome :D

Marshal Rohr, it was previewed earlier this year in digital render form as the event exclusive 40k mini for 2020. Can’t remember exactly when, have a feeling it was around March time.

They tend to start the AdeptiCon hype train very early. Makes sense since it usually has the most and biggest reveals and teases at that point of the year until Warhammer Fest comes around. Probably helps get ticket sales early too.
