I had to take off all the Misericordias on these lads to make points up for fitting it into a 1k - when fielded with their RG other half, all the Custodian Guard, the Vexilla and the Shield-Captain all carry Misericordias. However... they're looking good, as far as fitting in 1k goes. Feedback welcome, of course.

I know that it is the obvious question but how to you intend to close with the enemy and kill them? FW is a pain but strongly consider making one squad of custodes into saggitarium.

These guys will mostly be run without support in Zone Mortalis, which makes crossing the board and avoiding getting shot on the way much easier, and makes melee much nastier.

Is there a reason you are taking 2 of the Vexila that gives you a 5++? Is this list purely for running with your RG or is it meant for 1k games?

 

Since the Vexilla Imperius is the same price as the Defensor now, the +1A may work better for Zone Mortalis, since it lends itself more to melee?
