A guy on facebook was telling me its against the rules on Battlescribe for us. So it got me thinking, since I just recently made one I can always change him to just a regular marine with a jet pack and a 2hander. It says you can replace his weapons with any 2 weapons on the DW equipment list, and thunder hammer is on the list even though its a 2hander. xenomortis Posted November 21, 2019 Share Posted November 21, 2019 (edited) I think you're confusing the 'Thunder Hammer' and 'Heavy Thunder Hammer'. The standard 'Thunder Hammer' is a one handed weapon that a captain can legally take from the DW Equipment List. A 'Heavy Thunder Hammer' is a 2 handed weapon that can only be taken by Veterans and Vanguard Veterans. If you want just a suicide SC dropping the SS makes him not only cheaper points wise but also CP wise because it’s only 2 CP to fight in death rather then 3 CP to fight twice. Mine is TH/SS and I will often give him the beacon Angelis. I’ve been using him more for counter charging then DS tank/character hunting to good effect. The jump packs I got from Ebay were actually blood angels so I did in fact give him a BA pauldron lol. I just had made my captains before I really knew what was good to arm them with but from being around here more often I see we want them to be armed certain ways. I just need to snag a few more bodies and I can make some more models. Just got back from out of town, but I was using pretty much not really fully extended arm would just cut it at the forearm and then just glue it to the shield part.
