Which model do you wish GW would bring back?

I'd say either the original pewter hormagaunts, or the original pewter necron model range. I loved both of those.

^^ This man has the right idea!!

Those Hormagaunts were awesome I loved their Xenomorph vibe!

Wow, I remember my friend having the old metal Hormagaunts. They constantly fell over. What a pain. The sculpts were kinda nice though to be fair.

To be fair, the plastic ones have the same issue ha ha. I loved the old pewter tyranid line. They are what got be into Warhammer. I wish I still had those old models. If I could find an army worth of old tyranids, or Necrons, I would love to have them.

Kasrkin followed by the old 3.5ed Daemon Prince who actually looked like an elevated Chaos Space Marines. Those were some classic models that are far better than their plastic equivalents.

Ooh. Yes, this. I own an old metal Prince, and it's a pain to put together, but it is a phenomenal sculpt. A better, plastic version of it with an option for wings would be absolutely perfect.

I liked the Stormtrooper models from not too long ago (a decade or more I guess).  Otherwise I guess I'd like to see Sgt Centurious from LotD but as a new model (I like the new Chaplain models as a base, just as long as it doesn't see primaris'tisation).

Yep, I too felt that Daemon Prince was one of the best of the bunch showing a Chaos Marine who's been blessed with daemonhood.  I still have mine with the Nurgle one both in metal waiting in the big pile to be built :D

All the HH kits FW dropped over the last few years.

Losing the upgrade kit was bad, losing the only models for a lot of unit entries was worse. How are new players meant to get an assault ram?

The kasrkin and the old school necromunda Imperial guard would be on my list of things to bring back as well.

I would love to get my hands on the old metal daemon prince. The plastic one just doesn't do it for me. I also loved the old CSM aspiring champions and the old metal World Eaters marines with bolters they used to sell.

I mean, they go for like $40-$45 on eBay if you wanna look. That's where I got mine. Granted, mine was practically coated in Greenstuff, but... hey, it came with all the parts...!

I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing more of the "squatted" forge world stuff start showing up in normal 40k starter sets and/or specialist games. GW seems to have been porting pieces over from FW to the main GW line (to some extent at least) for a few years now; Sisters of Silence, Custodes, mk3/4/5/whatever, more FW stuff turning up in Codecies etc. It's almost like FW is a testing ground for GW... I don't think I ever saw the old metal Daemon Prince in person but I can tell it looks far more menacing than the compromised plastic version. I don't think the plastic one is a bad sculpt, but the metal kinda spoiled us.

The Kasrkin sure are popular here! I'd quite like the stormtroopers that we now know as Inquisitorial stormtroopers. They remind me of that Fire Warrior game, in which they would mutter "watch your spacing" every five seconds, before promptly bunching up to soak up a grenade. :p

Juan Diaz daemonettes were streets ahead of the newer plastic box.

I have three but am not prepared to remove a kidney to sell for more.

I´m glad i got box of 10 of those ladies. So lucky i noticed them somewhere

There was an iteration of Space Wolf Scouts which really looked like grizzled, behind-enemy-lines loners. They seemed to be replaced rather quickly by sculpts which cleaved much more to the usual Scout style, with Blood Claw-type heads, and really looked much less appealing.

Also, Tanith infantry.

Agreed, the guys below were much better than the subsequent metal models and the current plastics. Much closer to the art and background.. I get the impression that most wolf scout conversions in the twenty-odd years since their release, the ones using a mix of marine and marauder/catachan parts, have been working to this concept.

The sergeant in particular is like the gold standard of appropriately grizzled, weather-beaten Fenrisian warrior
