Custodes, single model unit?

Anyone else think that Custodes should start off in units of 3 or 6 but later in the game they should be able to split up into single model units.  It means we would better able to play an objectives game as we aren't really good at that at the moment, also when you have dented your enemies forces you could split up and engage left over units or if there are no good units to attack with a single model you can just keep your 3 man unit.  Obviously this would only be for a battleforged army as there would be too much cheese opportunity with allies.  What do people think?

I think the idea is sound, perhaps modifying the strat we currently have so it can be used on any unit rather than just allarus.

And be a bit cheaper CP's wise.  Though with how uncompetitive we are I think it should be a main rule rather than a strat.

Maybe let them split off one model per unit, each turn (starting t2)

I'd like that but I still think it should just be across the board as its not that OP and we are still bottom tier.
