demented Posted December 9, 2019 Share Posted December 9, 2019 I have been itching to kick of a Blood angels army for a while and needed a break from titans and Beast Grave. They were my first 40k army back in the day and It feels good to be going back to my roots. I'm starting off with something that will be more of a show piece model in the army, to set the scene and help me to move forward with the army. The head was a stand in as I was going to paint up a gold Sanguinary guard one but I actually quite like it so not sure now. Still lots to do on it, thanks for checking in! For the centerpiece, what sort of character are you thinking of going with? The reason I ask is that the skull masks are more commonly associated with Chaplains, and could be somewhat at odds with the archetypal depiction of most Blood Angel characters outside the Chaplaincy.
