Paint scheme shortcut.

[Claws and Effect]

So I was working on my son's Necrons and stumbled across a nifty shortcut to the classic dark green paint scheme on Necron vehicles that I thought I'd share with you guys.

 

Some of you may have figured it out already, but if you haven't here ya go:

 

Spray black and cover it with Dark Angels Green contrast. Then do your highlights as normal.

 

That's it. Simplest thing in the world.

I feel like if I had started my Necron army when Contrast was released I would have done a similar thing with blue and black. Tyriks uses purple over silver and it looks great.

My son plays Sautekh because the assault weapons when advancing thing is great for his playstyle, and he really likes running named characters.
