Could I still vow an Aeronautica Imperialis plane for the month?

WoW's new expansion has just dominated my time, but I think I could quickly knock out a tiny plane to make the deadline.

As promised in my 1st vow completion post for this month, I've painted "some Sisters" to ensure I hit the 5 model mark for the 12th month in a row!

I have finished my December vow and the Strain Leader from the Boxing Day Bash has been joined by the rest of the squad. And yes once again the snow effect is still drying.

 

 

 

 

Edit: By my count I painted 88 models this year.  A satisfying total, unfortunately I have built yet more models, so the unpainted horde increased this year. Oh well on to the next year.

Thanks Grotsmasha for organizing this - seeing all those great models painted in this thread was a great source of inspiration! My miniature count this year ended up crazy high.

Here's my end of year victory parade, minus the Tyranids and the Custodes, which are now on display in my local store.

And a Leman Russ without options. Fortunately I have gotten hold of bits to make the options and so have removed the sponsons and haven't glued the tracks on but everything is painted.

And so my efforts for the year come to an end.  Not going to lie, I am disappointed by what I achieved overall as I proved to myself I can do more.  Nut that is what 2021 is for now I guess.  So in closing here is my Plodding Along Vow as completed as its going to be for now:

 

 

Still got transfers to do etc but that will be further down the track when I can get some custom ones done.  He is also magnetised so I will do up the other options as well as the pilot etc later on.  I have burned myself out on this guy for now and need a bit of a break.  Now to down size my robots and move to a Redemptor for the 2021 Jan challenge.

Wow TPS, that's a fair amount of plastic completed.

 

Here is my total for 2020.

 

 

A total of 42 figures, 3 Kans and 2 Rhino's. I also re-shouldered 60 Marines with PGTM shoulder pads for June

 

Probably my most productive year for a long time, as I also got a few Tanks done for my Great Company out of challenge, so again a big thank you to Grotsmasha for running this and for planning another run in 2021. Happy New Year, Brothers.

Cheers for hosting again grotsmasha!  I know this must have taken a lot of work and time as there were many more participants this year! I appreciate what you've done and I hope there will be a 2021 challenge. I would not begrudge you some time off though!

Well done to all who participated too. Looking forward to seeing how much grey plastic was painted in total. I'm guessing a sizable chuck of our collective back log was bitten off!

DECEMBER SUMMARY

 

Wooooo, we did it, another 12 Months complete, a big thank you to everyone who participated whether you completed one month, no months or all twelve.

 

The final month had 22 Participants take up the Challenge one last time for 20200, together we pledged 137 models, and managed to complete 134 of those models between us. 20 of us Completed the final month with just two failing to complete their pledges for December.

 

Like last year, I will be completing a MASSIVE summary of the Challenge in the next few days, as well as organising a Poll to decide the Frater's Favourite for 2020.
