Moderators/Admins color outline

Why not make Moderators/Administrators username color outlined in (example) red/green, respectively? If my previous forum administrating experience told me, it would be a quick edit on the template file to have the usergroup id outlined in a hex color. (Not trying to sound arrogant). 

 

In hindsight, would it be because you would want everyone on the forum to feel equal?

Most likely because the current forum software in use is old and doesn't allow many things. However as far as I know it's planned to switch to a newer one eventually.

It's not something we've considered, members of the team are members of the community first. Only a fraction of their posts are in any sort of official capacity so highlighting all of them doesn't really fit as a normal post from the team stands equal to anyone else's. The member group and icon should be enough to note someone as part of the B&C team when this is needed, and regular participation in an army forum should soon familiarise anyone with the local team

I see. And sfPanzer mentioned something about the software being updated? (This is more for curiosity).

We've in the process of sorting out the bits needed to upgrade the software, the plan is to get this done at some point next year. We'll keep everyone updated when we have something to report :tu:
