Heaps of extra room to do something different though. Had thoughts of a detailed interior with flip up rhino style hatches or perhaps a Nurgley garden complete with trees etc.. Any thoughts gents? It doesn't seem big enough to do a count as for a baneblade or something of that caliber, although I could be wrong. This screams for it to be a center piece of the army. Hey mate,I painted the ammo case with 50/50 brown and leadbelcher. Then varnish. Hairspray and salt technique followed by a spray of corax white. Then paint chosen colour. This is death world forest. I then chip by using a wet brush removing the salt. I wash with agrax. And draw scratches on with a hb pencil.... The trick is to do em in batches. I painted a whole heap of stowage at once. The fuel barrel for instance was done at the same time. Ive done a bit morework on what is now a macharius. Uts actually starting to resemble it quite well. It seems the macharius really is just a big leman Russ. Working on the turret now. Just trying to get proportions right.. Cheers, Anthony. Haven't really got alot of work done on my army TBH...Hope everyonereading this is ok, and making good use of the downtime. Im yet to be closed down at work but its coming.
