Hello Guys.

As the title of the thread says.

Wich option would you choose? A talon master with 36 um Twin assault Cannons on Devastation Doctrine and 2+ bs (Corvus Oculus), or with a F6 -3 D2 Twin Linked Assault Cannons? (Master Crafted) with 30 um of range?

Of course both options would go with Impeccable Movility.

I would go with the Master Crafted Option for the extra damage. (12 shots of D2 its huge). Sammael should go next to him to provide rerolls and maybe the extra BS of the Corvus Oculus wouldnt be needed so much. And the range isnt a problem due to their mobility.

What do you think?

Regards.

You can't give special issue wargear to vehicles so I guess that answers your question

Double Talon master is the order of the day + Sammael

fire support from 3 Typhoon speeders looks on the cards too the frag option gets -1 in Dev doctrines coupled with ignores cover you can clear away far flung scoring units then pop the strategy for 4++ while getting a -1 from the darkshroud.

It's odd that you'd think of running a gunline of speeders just under 1000 points gets you 6 speeders that can clear your opponents troops away probably by the end of turn 1

You can mix and match weapons with the speeders as well the multi Melta is now 30" range

Double gunline with speeders + Hellblaster blobs tactically 2 mobile fire bases.

Yeah the speeders are solid hellblasters I still would not touch with a ten foot barge pole overrated unit at best

Whilst Speeders are a very choice unit indeed now just remember that if you attend a tournament you are very likely to run into Assault Centurions that will ruin your day. Make sure to keep them correctly screened and zoned at all times to maximise their effectiveness otherwise you may as well not take them.

In the age of the Assault Centurion, Infiltrators and Intercessors are now a must have as Scouts can die easily to Thunderfire Cannons.

Eliminators help my friend runs thunderfire cannons and the +2 in cover is a real boon also you can put them out of sight and use the Mortis round against the tech marine with our extended range he won't be able to get out of the way.
