A long time hobby-dream is beginning to take form. Two legions, opposite sides of the same coin, is building up forces to annhiliate eachother.

 

Brother Will fight brother and heroes Will rise on both sides.

 

This is my grand work and im excited.

Excellent, can't beat Terminators for a brutal boarding action! Are you using the FW shields? Those things look great.

Exactly! Im envision this project as a brutal boarding/boarding-repelling -action. Terminators at the front and battlehardened veterans bringing up the rear.

 

Erasmus Golg and Alexis Pollux Will be the main characters :)

I’m really liking the more muted yellow on the Fists. Can’t wait to see more from this project!

 

Are you going to attempt chevrons on the Iron Warriors?

Paint-scheme is more or less decided. Im torn between weathering the Fists or not tho, what you guys think?

Those Fists want to be weathered for sure, even the proudest of legions is going to get battered and filthy in boarding actions and void warfare. I'd completely forgotten about the Tartaros shields, that first Terminator looks ace.

I need to change direction with This project. Since i want to play both 30k and 40k setting it Will become very boring since IW and IF have so similar rules in 40k.

 

I need to change the setting to the first skirmishes in sol system. At the time of praetorian of Dorn.

 

Fists Will stay, alpha legion masterfully outplayed the Iron warriors and thus takes their place.

Ah brother, are there any legions you haven't yet turned your hands to? Glad to hear the Fists are staying, I guess that with the other legions you have, there's quite a lot of overlap with the IVth.

Ive tried many legions and ditched many, mostly because i couldnt replicate the vision in my mind to the painting sadly. I belive Im such a person who cant just settle for an ok result. The Legions Im happy with is my Iron hands and the Fists.

 

But honestly Ive almost not even touched a traitorlegion

Liking the colour of Alpharius there, what colour are you thinking for the lenses? Will you be doing any disguised Alpha legionnaires, operating in false colours?

 

I know what you mean, re getting things right or not at all, part of the reason it took me so long to start up my Iron Hands log, wanted to make sure I had all the parts I needed to recreate the legion as it appears in my mind's eye. Glad to be following brother, your projects are always interesting and tackle many legions I like, but won't collect.

Sounds good, I'm glad to hear that the siege terminators will be staying, they're a cool unit and it makes sense that the Iron Warriors would have 'loaned' some to the Alpha Legion for operations in the well fortified system of Sol.

 

Same, if I feel that the models I'm producing aren't matching the standard I want, or the image that I've set in my head, then my motivation swiftly evaporates. Thanks, I'm very happy with them, just wish I could paint them at the rate that you get through your guys!

Tonights progress of strike cell 4-gamma. The units mission parameters are classified. At void-station Zulu 43 deep in sol-system the unit was recorded during the fighting. One of the legionarie’s scrambled armour ident-tag flicked on for a second to reviel the name Alpharius.

 

That was a strange occurance Since alpharius was confirmed to be on Three different voidstations. At the same exact time.
