Brotherhood of the Lost's Invitation

Recommended Posts

In a follow up announcement to yesterday's news that the Brotherhood of the Lost is embarking on the new project known as the Eight-Fold War, we're also announcing that we are recruiting for new Legions and factions.

As it stands right now, we have five Legions: 2 Loyalists, 1 Separatist, our Khorne Legion, and 1 Undecided.

Additionally, we are also looking for other factions, ranging from breakaway human rebels, independent-seeking Forge Worlds, and so on.

If you are interested in taking part of this new adventure, please feel free to contact us.

In case you were unaware of yesterday's announcement, here it is:

"As of today, the Brotherhood of the Lost will be switching projects. The Icarion Insurrection will be retired to make way for our new project: The Eight-Fold Wars.

The Eight-Fold Wars will be centered on the Emperor's mysterious disappearance during the apex of the Great Crusade. Bereft of his guiding light, the Imperium is left in uncertainty. As his absence lengthens without evidence of his swift return, oaths sworn deteriorate. Finally, they are broken entirely as betrayal, corruption, and ambition fester within the darker corners of the galaxy, until they explode into conflict.

This is the story of Loyal Sons tasked with the impossible duty of fulfilling their father's shadow, of temptation twisting around the souls of opportunistic Brothers, and of the Outsider, whether of Warp, of Xeno, or of transformed humanity, seizing their chance to rise."

Not quite that much work. Instead, we aim for what we call a ‘red book’. It’d be a book just about your legion/faction. Remember the earlier books that were published for the Insurrection? It’d be like that, or a legion part of a black book. A fluff chapter and a rules chapter.

So, what kind of setting are we looking into this time around? Alternate Primarchs as per BotL? Scrambled origins as per the WoL (right? Been a while since I checked that project)? Or just the original 18 and a divergent timeline post Ulanor?

We’re interested in having you. Head to the thread: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361564-new-legions/?do=findComment&comment=5469497

If you already have a concept, go ahead and post it. If you need a little help, talk to us about what thoughts you might have.
