2k General Order of our last Breath list

HQ

-Canoness: Condemner Boltgun, Brazier of holy fire. Heronine in the making: Terrible Knowledge (If I understand right, if I go first ill get 3  faith dice at 6)

-Celestine: Warlord (For the faith dice)

 

Troops:

-Battle Sisters: 1 combi flamer sup, 1 H Flame, 1 Melta, 3 Bolter.

-Battle Sisters: 1 combi flamer sup, 1 H Flame, 1 Melta, 3 Bolter.

-Battle Sisters: 1 combi flamer sup, 1 H Flame, 1 Melta, 3 Bolter.

 

Elite: 

-Hospitalliaer: Litanies of faith

-2xGeminae Supperia

 

Heavy: 

-Exorsist: Exorcist Missile Launchers

-Exorsist: Exorcist Missile Launchers

-Exorsist: Exorcist Conflagration Missiles

 

 

---Our Martyred Lady Battalion

-Saint Kathrine

 

Troops:

-Battle Sisters: 1 combi melta sup, 1 H Flamer, 1 Melta, 4 Bolter. 

-Battle Sisters: 1 combi melta sup, 1 H Flamer, 1 Melta, 4 Bolter. 

-Battle Sisters: 1 combi melta sup, 1 H Flamer, 1 Melta, 4 Bolter. 

 

Fast Attack:

-Dominion: 1 Boltgun sup, 4 Storm bolters, 4 bolters. (For blessed bolts)

-Seraphim: 1 plasma pistol 1 bolt pistol sup, 2(4) hand flamer sisters, 2(4) bolt pistols.

 

Heavy:

-Retributors: 1 combi plasma sup, 4 Multi melta, 4 bolters.

So the idea is have the Ebon Chalice up front for overwatch reactions and FNP. Martyred lady units behind them, the Hospitallier is behind them to heal the wounds but benefit from the 2+ to hit if they lose a model.

 

Keep all HQs except the canoness in the middle of the army to give everythig a 4++ save (when stacked with Celestine and Junith). Kathrine is right behind the hospitallier because with her 18 wounds she can always be shot (question, can she still be shot if she has less then 10 wounds or is it max wounds?) Kathrine tries to soak damage, make me unable to retreat, gives faith dice etc, eats things when she gets into CC with infantry.

 

Keep the Canoness near the Exorsists to rerolls 1 to hit, unless fighting psykers, then give her the Brazier of Eternal flame and put her with the other HQs.

 

effectively gaining 4 dice per round reliably, 1 on my turn for Celestine, 1 for round, 1 for Kathrine, one on my opponents turn for Kathrine.

 

Deep strike the Seraphim in round 2 or 3 to hit a weak heavy weapons squad or something thats giving me problems in the rear, use Deadly Decent on that turn. 

 

Thats the basic Idea for a come all list, mainly because its all WYSIWYG currently (Not fully painted however) I may at a later time put the Rets into a Repressor with an extra H Flamer and drop the Dominions for it, letting them wreak havoc in the enemy line and punch vehicles, if fighting something like orks, I can put 4 H Bolters instead (Dont have the extra H Flame)

Interesting list overall, and not a bad set of tactics to go with it. Something to be aware of though, the Ebon Chalice warlord trait reads that your first miracle die you gain is a automatically a 6, you dont have to roll but only get one. In addition, you gain d3 command points. It's still a great warlord trait and I love it and ebon chalice personally, but that may affect your plan a bit!

Interesting list overall, and not a bad set of tactics to go with it. In addition, you gain d3 command points. It's still a great warlord trait and I love it and ebon chalice personally, but that may affect your plan a bit!

aah I read it as the first dice, as in multiple, but it dosent effect anything.

Yea definitely the 5+++ and being able to trade miracle dice out to make other miracle dice 6s throughout the game are both solid just remember the FNP is only against mortal wounds not all wounds, Valorous Heart has a 6+ FNP against ALL wounds.

I misread that, I ll probably change Ebon Chalice to Valerous Heart for the 6+++ and the -1 ap becomes ap 0

 

or I may try Sacred rose, the overwatch on 5 and 6s is real good

 

Can I have the same warlord trait for different battalions useing Heroing in the making? 

 

Im wanting to take another Beacon of faith for 4 faith dice a turn.

The targeting characters restriction is on starting number of wounds, so yes, the Triumph can always be shot.

 

Regarding the list itself, I would switch the third exorcist to missiles as well, as you already have plenty of anti-infantry via the sisters.  Your canoness will ALWAYS want to babysit the exorcists.  Re-rolling 1's is no joke and the exorcists will do most of the heavy lifting for your list.

 

It might be worthwhile investing in some transports.  As the list stands it doesn't have a lot of mobility.  The Heavy Flamers (being heavy) cannot shoot if you advance, and 3+/4++ on T3 is...fine.  It's not the saves that girls worry about, it's the fact we take buckets of wounds from being T3.

 

Other than your exorcists, the effective range of your army is 18" (6" move, 12" rapid fire), or 30" with a 6" move and plink plink.  Given the loadouts of your BSS squads you also have nothing cheap enough to screen out your backline.  It's worth keeping two or three BSS naked to just sit on a backfield objective(s) and/or screen out deepstrikers while the rest of your army advances and goes to work.  45pts is cheap enough to leave behind and camp an objective, 81pts with guns that only shoot 12"?  That squad doesn't want to be hugging the backfield.

The Exorsist tank is because of points, its already at like 1997 points, I actually dropped it to make room. Im not sure what id drop tbh, also the list is mainly WYSIWYG. I have 2 Repressors coming in soon. I may drop an Exorcist to afford some Rhinos or something. Gonna play with this list for a but and see how it goes with my group. Thanks for the advice

Drop the Geminae, the upgrades (plasma pistol, combiplasma), swap a few HF's for stormbolters or bolter girls if you have the models.  Should free up more than enough points upgrade the third exorcist to carry missiles.
