Hectarion (853)

War of the Manglar Horde (862-3)

The Defeat of the Ligoram Empire (825-7)
Andezo leads a large Imperial armada in the conquest of a powerful human interstellar polity. The victory is emphatic, but conducted with little of the excessive violence which was previously the XXth Legion’s hallmark.

A Chapter or two of the Dream Walkers?
1 other Legion force, not led by the Primarch

I don't have any particular dates in mind for K'awil's being found. But his being last is relatively pivotal to how I see him acting/interacting with the other Primarchs, so I'd like to keep that spot if possible. That does leave the latter Primarchs relatively unbounded in when they can be found though, which could be good or bad I guess.

The apostles should see the first rangdan and then be crushed at Batu, giving them time to develop hubris and self confidence to be shattered and then be open to Gwalchavad war philosophy. But also Gwal should habe enough time to become wworn out and disillusioned by the imperium after watering down his ideals. And he has to be found short after Ixi

Open for Comissions, just PM me. The Wardens of Light were like golden blades, cutting down their enemies scarring the darkness.

I find it a bit weird having Kozja, Icarion and Hectarion found in the same order as their legion numerals - I'd swap Icarion and Kozja. Perhaps even have Daer'dd, Icarion, Hectarion, Kozja?

Having Kozja and Hec found in short order would also allow more opportunity to play up their rivalry/enmity

There's a good reason for Icarion not to be Warmaster-ised... But is there one for Daer'dd?

Maybe too closely related to his brothers, making it difficult for him to take vigorous action?

Daer'dd might just not have any real interest in being Warmaster. He's content to be a Primarch and rule over Tricendia - though honestly I'd rather have someone else be first-found.

Trying to keep note of some major campaigns:

The Vremalkyr Incursions

The Southern Imperium comes under attack by the Vremalkyr, an alien race of godlike power and unspeakable malevolence. Scores of worlds are ruined before the xenos are destroyed.

Participants in the defence:

  • Thunder Talons (the majority, led by August)
  • A Chapter or two of the Dream Walkers?
  • 1 other Legion force, not led by the Primarch - possibly the Tyrant's Fists

Participants in the counter-attack, led by the Emperor:

  • Astral Griffons
  • Lightning Bearers
  • Void Eagles

The Doljen Conquest (c. 980. M30)

Kozja leads a massive Imperial armada against the sector-spanning Doljen Freehold.

Participants:

  • Warbringers
  • Sons of Solstice
  • One other (maybe Steel Legion?)
  • Novadeka

You and I had an idea of placing them down a warp route that needed to be guarded against something. So kinda a bit behind a choke point of some kind

The War of the Manglar Horde
The War of the Manglar Horde was a defensive campaign fought by the Imperium in the Nerska March during 862-3. M30 against the Orks of Irin' Duke Manglar. It culminated in the brutal Siege of Kyvel, at which the Orks were caught and destroyed by the combined might of three Legions.

Leonfrik will have command of the defences here, with the Lightning Bearers and Thunder Talons moving to relieve the defenders.
