Question for those who model both 40k and gunpla...

Recommended Posts

How well to vehicles like rhinos and dreadnoughts scale with 1/144 scale gunpla parts? There are several weapon packs that I like the look of, but am curious as to if I could use them or is the size just too different?

A regular dreadnought is quite a bit shorter than a 1/144 scale mobile suit but has hands like 5 times the size so that's kind of a meaningless question unless you get specific. My only 1/144 scale stuff is in an attic somewhere but if I remember correctly they're about as tall as a rhino is long.

Barrel sizes can be quite similar I guess. Gun caliber scales pretty linearly and 40k has some silly things like demolisher cannons so radically out of scale sources are always going to be usable.

I do!

Got kits ranging from 1/144 to 1/60, and honestly it's not just the scale of the kit you need to look at. Even within scales the size of suits varies WILDLY. For example my Nu Gundam 1/144 is a full inch taller (to the head) than the 1/144 Talgeese

What are you eyeing up??

gatling could work, maybe...

though if you can, there´s far better gatling looking gun in the build divers side

also, if you don´t mind other parts or have some ideas, there´s this too
