Night Lords are off to a great start! Loving the posing you are getting for them and would love to see more paint no the latest one. Want to see how that blue looks with metallic trim and everything.
Necron is also look good and I like the idea of the local plant life growing on his necrodermis from eons of slumber.
Thanks, Hush!
I'll post up the painted Night Lord soon, got a bunch of work to do though. Not too happy with the blue, think I'll go for a thinner coat of blue. The thicker blue was due to it being the first time I airbrushed from a paint pot, so I've gained an idea on what to do and what not to.
Here's some finished miniatures! I converted these for the Space Wolves subforum challenge.

The axe-wielder! Really happy with the miniature, and the trophy makes him quite characterful. I've given him a Khorne shoulder pad from the old CSM box. In my lore, he killed a World Eater and took his shoulder pad both as a sign of contempt to the warrior's devotion to Khorne and to replace a damaged shoulder pad, and took his helmet for a trophy. However, I also wanted to hint that the Night Lord is falling to Khorne slowly, and the fact that him and his trophy helmet are looking in the same direction is a happy coincidence.

Here's a model which was quite frustrating to work on, the bolt pistol in his left hand having to be transplanting using three (!) different Space Marine arms. Regardless, he looks nice. The Blood Angels helm is a trophy, this Night Lord mocking the foe he killed by wearing his armour in battle.
And here's a wolf guard. I've blu-tacked the backpack for when I magnetise it for a jump pack. Twin chainswords, a fun loadout! Model wise I think he looks alright, his fellows will be armed with axes which will be counts as chainswords.

And finally, here's my take on a Varagyr that looks more like the Black Book art. The fur was a new technique I tried, real fiddly but I think now I've gained a better understanding of it. I spent way too much time on the fur, hah. The fur doesn't look bad from a distance, but paint will tell.

I realise the right shoulder pad is missing a little fur. I only realised when taking the photo because it isn't very evident in reality.
Comments and feedback always appreciated!
