Bechdel only demands that the two female characters be discussing something other than men... which in 40k means you have to have Space Marines, xenos, or female cultists as the enemy.

Which I hope I was trying (and obviously failing) to make!

... I don't hate her. I love her little techy armor and her little visible hip line.
She makes me think of a female space-age, Blood-and-Sand Spartacus.
Has some serious resting bitch face though

Except for the bare midrift and the awkward stockings, her armor is legit roman armor, too.
I think she looks more ridiculous than fanservicy, personally. Especially with that little baby chainsword and horrible hairdo.

A female character should be able to have sexuality without it immediately being "bad." Sexuality can be an expression of power and dominance too, and that's definitely something an Inquisitor might use to their advantage.
Why exude sexuality on a battlefield? Seems kinda stupid, especially when a large portion of your enemies are either non-human or have no response to it other than "the unarmored areas are the most effective targets."
It's not as awful as the Raging Heroes fig, but I still think it's bad compared to the examples that GW has produced themselves in the past.

For the same reason the Commissar has a really big hat.
My main point was that the model in question isn't really "stripperific" anyway. It's just a woman showing a bit of thigh, which is actually pretty normal, and even in context considering the "Roman soldier" styling of the gear. Nothing else about the model is sexually suggestive. I think the reaction to it is overblown, especially when compared to most other depictions of women in miniature. Does a female character need to wear a burqa to not have people cry out exploitation?

Yes. Because then we can call it Isploitation.

I think that neither of us will influence the other's opinion on this matter, so I'll just agree to disagree with you, Max. Less chance of the mods reaching for their meltas, as well.

A very good point, Zephyr. Let's concentrate on the topic at hand only please.
I'm not one for the Kromlech stuff generally, the Inquisitor was a disappointment as I thought it could be different to their usual bits. Turns out it was different, but not in a way I like The Roman thing is overplayed, needs a bit more witch hunter but I'm sure it could be a good base model for an industrious converter or sculptor.

Your opinion is important, and someone posting here probably does care what you think. You should go tell them. Remember that it really hurts to come up with an idea you care about and have no one else care. Go care about something and tell them what you think. Now. Think of what it would have meant to you when you were young.

Perhaps Kromlech's latest will be a little less controversial, she's more covered up anyway.
Sister Herja:

Clearly modelled after a Navigator, but could serve as an astropath/sanctioned psyker/priestess/whatever you want. Apparently she comes with enough hands that she can have her staff, staff plus pistol, nothing, or just pistol.

Could be a good basis for an Astropath, staff is a bit big for me iconography aside but that could be easily replaced.

I like this one, though I'd like to see the other hand options as well. Would replace the staff icon, as well, but I think that's to be expected.

I believe there was a theory that men (including myself last I checked) either see women as their mom or sexually desirable. Sometimes both if you have an Oedipus Complex

Where the girls in between are...idk. Speaking from some experience, there have only been 1 or 2 "beautiful" women I've seen in the military, the rest look as homely as the men. Though I'd think places with higher amounts of women in the military like Israel would have a higher propensity of attractive women.
Most attractive women I've met are dangerous enough without wielding a gun

Navigators in my opinion (that aren't fresh recruits atleast) should be worn by the work of trying to harness the warp. The HH-novel called Crimson fist makes, in my opinion, a good portrait of a navigator. Otherwise not a terrible model, I would'nt be able to sculpt better myself...
