The Wedal Glaceguard
One of the Old Hundred, the Glaceguard hail from the frozen climes of Southern Terra. Having submitted to the Imperium during the late Unification Wars, the polity of Wedal prospered as Terra was rebuilt. The Glaceguard saw action in the Solar Conquests, particularly with the XIIth Legion and Angkorian Dragoons on Cassini.
They subsequently fought beside a number of Legions in the early Crusade, including a protracted campaign under the banner of the XIVth Legion, but from 835. M30 onwards, they were brought firmly into the orbit of the Lightning Bearers. Thus they fought under Icarion Anasem's banner, through the rest of the Great Crusade and into the dark days of the Anarchy.
The Glaceguard utilised an advanced and visually striking pattern of carapace armour, painted silver and ice-blue. They favoured high-mobility warfare and swift war machines, a legacy of their origins in the Wedal Salt Desert.

Legion Serf-Forces

The Novadeka
Also known as the New Decade in Low Gothic, the Novadeka were bound directly to the Warbringers. During the great wars waged by Kozja Darzalas to unify his homeworld, the Primarch of the IXth Legion levied ten regiments from the Jagellonic System he had conquered. From the first campaign waged by the newly named Warbringers, the Novadeka were an integral part of Darzalas' war machine.
I - Darzalan Uhlans
I - Yurasil Grenadiers, the "Chem-Wolves"
III - Lechska Fusiliers
IV - Arkanav Voltigeurs
V - Mogugrad Death-Strike
VI - Chelo Revenants
VII - Zharisch Cossacks
VIII - Kzarny Rad-Walkers
IX - Zalmoxite Cataphracts
X - Vostala Ironclad

The Shackled
The Shackled were the disparate mortal armies which served the Berserkers of Uran. Although some originated as mere Penal Regiments, they soon took on a culture of their own, inevitably of a savage and bloodthirsty kind. Others hailed from the words of the Ashen Kingdom.
  • Agnoran Ravagers - founded on the Feral World of Agnora and one of the deadliest armies in the Berserkers' service
  • 3002nd Solar Auxilia Cohort, the Uranian Valynaz - taken from those VIIth Legion aspirants who survived the trials but were found unsuitable to undergo Ascension
  • Vultures of Bantazarr - the soldiery of the world of Bantazarr, once one of the most prosperous worlds in what became the Ashen Kingdom, who exemplified its moral decay
  • The CCVIIth Night Rippers - once known simply as the 217th Penal Battalion, the Night Rippers were the first such unit to be assigned to the Berserkers and thrived under their banner
  • Tirithan Gutterforged
  • Thramian Raiders
  • Barro Soot-Devils - Feral-Worlders whose way of war was heavily influenced by their volcanic homeworld of Barro

Other Legion Serf-Forces

Rakurai - oathed to the Lightning Bearers, these soldiers were based on the Solar Auxilia pattern, with some divergences carried out by Icarion

Legion Serf-Force

The Celestial Disciples

The Celestial Disciples are a milta force drafted from the Devourers of Irithons homeworld, they are as fanatical about the Imperial Truth as the primarch they serve. Blessed with hardened lives and support from the X legion, the Disciples are well trained and enduring warriors.

Many bare the symbols of their ancestors tribes, like the X legion, showing there worlds past ignorance. Though well equipped, no other tribe can compare to those of the Iron Crown, the worlds capitol city and archeotech fortress monastery of a long forgotten era.
Known as the Crowned Regiment, those of the city are granted access to ancient power suits and weapons. Too small for the hulking size of the Astartes, it takes years of training to both use and be worthy of wielding such a rare piece of Wargear so much so that it is unreplaceable.

They are currently led by Lord Patriarch Micolash von Hemwick, the Paladin of Iron. A Veteran of many compliances, he is a calm and cold commander who's fury is as refined as the archeotech wargear he wields.

75th Solar Auxilia Cohort, “Axe and Buff” (Solar Auxilia)

English Civil War New Model Army and Cavaliers
The 75th Solar Auxilia were formed by the fusion of the 71st "Leonine Axes" and 73rd "Ironsides" Cohorts which were heavily decimated during their first battle following their raising on Urvaris. Adopting the buff uniforms and heavy mechanisation of the 73rs and the many Veletaris of the 71st, the new 75th have gone on to distinguish themselves in the battle of Rigronous Delta, the siege of Xilmore and crucially the conquest of Seonia, in which they were able to bring succour to the 12th recon company of the Astral Griffons - ever since the have been allowed to incorporate an azure griffon as an honourary heraldic badge into their insignia.

I'd say make them Army rather than Solar and go the whole hog on the aesthetic. Space Roundhead helmets ftw, regardless of whether it fits the name.
