The Imperial Forge World of Mjorn is one of the most influential planets in the Ishtar Sub-Sector of the Segmentum Ultima, and the only Forge World of the sub-sector. Settled long ago by a large Xenarite Explorator Fleet seeking refuge after a devastating journey through the warp and harrowing encounters with Xenos that shaped the founders of the world into a distinctly new culture, it has grown rapidly into a major regional industrial powerhouse in the Sector and is known for its aggressive exploration, examination, and destruction of xenos ruins across the galaxy as well as possessing several rare STCs.

A geologically active moon of Blüde Seod loosely described as 'terrestrial'. Mjorn is typified by rugged mountainous terrain, but in the low-lying regions (and several high plateaus) dense forests surround a network of bubbling swamps and interconnecting streams. The gasses produced by these swamps are volatile and poisonous to humans, and have become all the more toxic due to the industrial run-off of Mjorn's production facilities which inhabit the mountains. An unusually large axial tilt causing extreme seasonal changes. Both the northern and southern hemispheres experience harsh winters, with cold nights that can last for weeks or months at a time depending on latitude. The atmosphere is composed mostly of nitrogen and oxygen, but high levels of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide make it lethal to humans.

*Fabicator Locum Raymond Raven: A Magos of the Divisio Digitalis and Divisio Biologis on Mjorn in the Ishtar sub-sector. He is part of the reason that the 487th Lunar Venatorii Cavalry Regiment is so technologically advanced. As the high ranking member of that division, he was able to authorize the creation and training for a Electro-Magnetic Warfare Section in the 487th as a favor his brother who is a Colonel of that Regiment. Arch-Magos Digitalis Raven is the second highest ranking member of the Cult Mechanicus on Mjorn and a firm believer of the Xenarite beliefs. As such he is dedicated to the study and exploitation of alien technology, a policy which most Tech-priests find highly offensive. 
 
*Magos Cyon-Xi Zeth: Magos Juris Cyon is a man full of contradictions that he finds ironically beautiful, when someone remarks upon him. Born and raised on Mjorn, a peculiar Forge World with its Priesthood having more then a mere penchant for developed lateral thought and dabbling in xenos technology, where Cyon was inducted into the Adeptus Mechanicus. Following the ambition of his peers he glared into the starful void in look for answers atop one of many research observatoriums that orbit the Forge World.
 
*Iron Maiden Celes 'Celestia' Ferronica van Alderson: Celes is a curious woman due to the way she grew up on the world of Mjorn, the capital of the Sect of Absolute Truth, Iron Maiden being a title granted by her sect. It goes far enough like many other individuals of the cult to even embrace knowledge that is not meant for regular humans. Considering the indirect Sect founder and main figure of it was 'Alderson' an Iron Hands Master of the Forge, seconded to the Deathwatch. He died sometimes before The War of the Beast and was renown for his experimental technology, though most of his achievements were long lost, having been declared heretical. Celes knows that the importance to record data is of utmost importance, if people question how much knowledge of alien technology and civilization should be recorded, she usually uses the excuse that the radical Ordo Xenos inquisitors as well as Astartes have used for long 'know your enemy'. The Explorator Inquisitor Adam Clarke came across her during a hunt for a runaway traitor.
 
*Magos 'IN364': Leader of the Magos Biologis maniple of Mjorn that worked with Rogue Traders and proposed owing to the abhuman heritage of the Felinid residents of the world of Dumizid, that the worlds be left alone until holdover knowledge from the golden age of technology could be fully recovered. Discovered genetic processes that lead to various Gene Therapy techniques used by the priests of Mjorn.
 
*Magos Donover Thet is a notable member of the Adeptus Mechanicus that hails from the forge world of Mjorn, serving as the Head of Industry for Velara. He is also a member of the radical and secretive sect known as the Xenarites, whose primary focus is on studying and using alien technology. 
 
*Enginseer Lukas Brecher: Trained on the forge world of Mjorn, Lukas was assigned to work alongside the '''18th Cogger Hive Guard Mechanized Infantry Regiment''', in their invasion of a string of asteroids and planets controlled by Ork Pirates. He spent almost a decade alongside them, ministering to the vehicles and flyers of the troops and he gained a reputation as a man who gets the job done no matter how much he’s being shot at. When the war was finally finished and the Orks were driven from the system Lukas was assigned to construct a forward operations base on a remote planet in Segmentum Ultima and to assist the Magos’ who controlled the base. His skills at repair and maintenance are noteworthy and his desire to advance in the Cult Mechanicus means he will endeavour to show his best side.
 
*Theta-Xi 285 AKA 'Karinitha': A Magos with frequent dealings with those outside the Mechanicum came looking for someone who could be an basis for a Skitarii Protector to act as his guard. Finding her to be a suitable subject at the age of 14, the Magos promply took her and subjected her to the necessary procedures to elevate her to Skitarii-hood, but with a particular bent towards making the augmentations relatively unobtrusive to the untrained eye, as befitting the Magos's dealings.
 
*TA-251 AKA 'Terna Atheros': Once a humble scholar on the Hive World of Cogger, as an humble Adept of the Administratium before one day during work, a group of rebels stormed the main building with a view to take hostages so that they could force change to better the lot of those in the Underhive, with the hostages having the notable member of a Magos of the Ordo Reductor. She managed to escape from the grips of the rebels, and after fighting for hours she managed to by enough time for the Arbites to arrive. In the light of her actions, Terna was inducted into the ranks of the Ordo Redutor as a Thallax, being renamed TA-251.

Forge World Patterns



Mjorn has many patterns of both ancient and newer make. The Techpriests of the Forge World are foremost researchers and scientists before they are manufacturers, and due to this they utilize many things that are unique or rare outside the Ishtar Subsector. Mjorn Pattern Skitarii Classes are a series of genetic and mechanical experiments with the results being turned into manufacturing lines for their own forces with also had some success in producing gene therapies and other Mjorn Augmentation Patterns. Mjorn Pattern Las Weapons are variants on Lucius built patterns known for Mjorn's use of whisper modules and the ability to modify outputs giving soldiers the ability to use what is best for the situation, while the Mjorn Pattern Flamer Weapons are recovered ancient STCs that Mjorn uses to great effect. Mjorn Pattern Electromagnetic Technologies are a culmination of Xenarite studies and recovered STCs from various frontier worlds.

*Ordo Machinum: With the Ordo Mechanicumm a complicated relationship that is more of a game of cat and mouse and who is who can be get easily confused has formed with the Inquisition representative known as Adam Clarke. The years spent as a servant of many Xenarite Faction Magi has given Adam a unique insight to how the political structures of the Cult work. He wasn't privy to their secrets of craft and knowledge but he had attended many meetings as one Magi's guard or another. Mjorn specifically tries to hide their deeper secrets from him and he investigates their Hereteks and tries to uncover them. As one of "The Judicators of the Forge", the Ordo Machinum. His concentration is to scrutinize the Adeptus Mechanicus. Specifically, he is concerned with the reintegration of recovered STC variants into the Imperium's armies and the rare adoptions of alien technologies into established Mechanicum protocols.

Good job. A population of 29,000,000 seems low for a forge world, though. May I suggest raising it to at least 2,900,000,000? Hell, in the Ciaphas Cain novel The Greater Good, a forge world is described as having a population of 20,000,000,000- yes, 20 BILLION.

It is a bit low. I didn't have a good head for the numbers of a Forge World as they variate a lot depending on their production values. The idea is the entire subsector in which this Forge World is in and the Space Marines are in have problems with relatively low populations as it is a Subsector on the Frontier with only a few worlds being old or highly developed.

With such a low population, it's likely entire continents on the forge world are dark, due to lack of industrial work being carried out, due to lack of workers to work those industries. This can be a good motivation for your characters: Inquisitor Clarke and his co-conspirators seek a cure for whatever devastated the forge world's population (a plague from Nurgle? a Drukhari bioweapon? radioactive waste in the forge world itself?), and/or cloning technology to repopulate and rebuild the forge world to restore its productivity.

Good Ideas, The original idea is Mjorn is a Research Station that got upgraded to Forge World Status as they produce a lot of information and they would be productive enough to supply the Subsector. It's real power comes from a more subtle source of favors and loyalties that it has gain trading high technology and information for those that work with them. I can definitely up the population, just by how much I don't know. Also the Forge World is also suppose to be small in size, as the world is more a inhabitable moon of a Gas Giant. 

Their main production is in Genetic Modifications, Electromagnetic Technologies, and Explorator Fleets recovering Tech from various frontier worlds as well as Xeno sources.

The Lasgun, also sometimes referred to as a Lasrifle, is a directed-energy antipersonnel weapon used by the military forces of the Imperium of Man, and it is the most common and widely-used type of laser weapon in the galaxy. Mjorn Pattern las Weapons are noted for their increased accuracy and would the ability to change the spectrum of beams fired to make them near invisible. The built in suppression of Mjorn Patterns make them highly coveted by covert operation units. Mjorn patterns are alterations to Lucius Pattern standards using techniques in spectrum usage that are unique to Mjorn Tech-priests as well as recovered STCs for different power packs or parts.

Las Patterns

The Mjorn Pattern M1 Power Pack is the basic power pack for all Mjorn unique Pattern las weaponry, the power-pack includes a quick recharge generator using High voltage capacitor feeds back into the rotating battery pack that are built into all las designs. A '''Mjorn Pattern M1 Power Pack''' works by having several firing chambers arranged in a circle in a cylindrical block that are brought into alignment with the firing mechanism and barrel one at a time. As each energy camber is align the others charge giving the firer much longer length of time of usage before replacement. This provides a low power capacity per power cell in the pack and a low shot rate for las designs but ability for continuous precise fire over a long engagement.

M416 and M416c are lasgun and lascarbine variants respectively produced by Mjorn that are provided to various Astra Militarum units. The '''M23 Whisper Laspistol''' is the standard laspistol of the region also produced exclusively by Mjorn. These Variants of las weaponry operate in the 21 megathoule range, but is designed to draw from a Mjorn Pattern M1 Power Pack. Additional heat sink rings lining the exterior of the barrel as well as is notable for its heavily reinforced energy transfer capacitors, general durability in a wide variety of planetary environments, and superior heat dissipation qualities.

M417 Hellgun and M26 Hellpistol are standard productions used by the Lunar Venatorii Regiments whom they are in good relations with. These 'hell' weapons operate in the 28 megathule range and includes a sophisticated advance sight, incorporating an 4x magnification to further increase the weapon's precision, and a low-light infra-scope for nighttime-operations. Additional heat sink rings lining the exterior of the barrel as well as is notable for its heavily reinforced energy transfer capacitors, general durability in a wide variety of planetary environments, and superior heat dissipation qualities. At its maximum capacity, the M417 and M26 can be calibrated up to the sixty megathule range and holds enough potential energy that it is warm to the touch.

Flamers, also known as "Flame Guns", are Flamer Weapons that come in a wide variety of designs and patterns, but all are ideal for flushing out enemies in cover and putting groups of foes to the torch with projected flame. The two most common variants of Flamers either have a detachable fuel canister under the barrel, or a hose connecting to a backpack canister.

Mjorn pattern flamers features a long, narrow barrel and nozzle connected by a sturdy cable to a fuel canister worn on the user's back. This design grants an increased fuel reserve, while keeping the weapon itself light. This makes it a perfect choice for squads requiring high mobility. It has earned it a reputation for reliability and efficiency. This highly advanced pattern uses force-compression technology similar to that of a plasma weapon to create a super-heated thermal-incandescent blast that burns far hotter and with greater fuel efficiency than that of a usual flamer.

Flamer Patterns

Mjorn uses five variations of canisters. One variation uses the Balefire pattern shared with them by the Inquisition. A brutally effective flamer used against Orks and other xenos with natural regeneration, this Flamer uses highly refined promethium fuel mixed with a number of radioactive compounds to both burn and irradiate foes. Only rarely deployed due to the collateral environmental damage it causes. They are particularly effective in controlling and eradicating Ork infestations.

Another flamer canister produced by Mjorn is a variant to the Nightfire. Purely a terror weapon, the Nightfire uses refined promethium blended with toxic chemicals. Used only by specialist assault troops in full protective gear, it not only burns but also poisons the surrounding air with noxious smoke. Foes who manage to survive the initial flames find themselves gasping for air once the toxins reach their lungs.

Hellfire variants of canister are flamers based off of Hellfire Bolts which incorporate mutagenic acids into the promethium mixture to make it very effective at melting through hard chitin and carapaces, it is commonly used to eliminate Tyranids and other Xenos with extensive natural protection.

Using a psychically impregnated form of Promethium that burns hotter and more fiercely Mjorn also produces a Psychically nullifying flame canister to be used with its flamer patterns known as Hexfire for it's blue burning flames. These weapons are among the most effective in the imperial arsenal, as they are capable of forgoing the enemy's heretical armour, their cowardly cover, and their Warp-spawned magics.

Another frightening pattern of canister to be used in the Mjorn Flamer patterns uses a mixture of highly corrosive industrial residue and toxic waste contained under high pressure. The effects of the mixture on flesh are truly horrific and all but the best armour is little protection from the burning poison. The moniker this variation is called when seen Shadowfire. By utilizing corrosive chemicals that leave any survivors with debilitating injuries and lingering sickness, it is said to leave a shadow on those that have been affected.

That is a great question,one I unfortunately don't have a good answer. Until engine war Skitarii didn't even have a flamer option and I haven't had much experience making stats and rules. I have another asking for help and advice for rule generation for my unique patterns, characters, and heck my chapter. If you have some suggestions of where to start of what these things should look like I would love it.

The Skitarii (sing. Skitarius), also known as the Tech-Guard and the Legiones Skitarii, are the cybernetic military forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus of the Imperium of Man. To a man, the Skitarii are warriors born. Most Skitarii are born into the service of the Mechanicus either as natural-born human Menials of the Cult Mechanicus who are cybernetically-enhanced specifically to serve as Skitarii or they are genetically-engineered clones or vat-born humans who are cybernetically enhanced from the moment of their accelerated "birth," much like certain types of Servitors. Others are repurposed from mind-wiped convicts or warriors handed over as punishment for failure or desertion. The Skitarii of Mjorn are considered chosen of their respective Magos.

Mjorn whose second specialty is in the area of genetic engineering has over the millennia experimented and modified the genetic code of humanity to purpose grow their skitarii in new ways. This genetic manipulation is extensive throughout Mjorn culture and livelihood. Mjorn Tech-priests seek to improve humanity through technology and genetic understanding. Mjorn Augmentation Patterns are used to enhance the standards that are provided to variant classes of Skitarii that Mjorn makes use of. These variants of Skitarii are pinnacles of Genetic and Mechanical augmentation that Mjorn uses subtly to increase their ability to fight the dangers pressing against humanity and the Forge World specifically.

Mjorn Pattern Augmentation Technology is a form of technology that is unique to the forge world of Mjorn. The Mjornian Priesthood has a specialty in using the genetics as well as electromagnetics in their technologies. This specialty has lead to the creation of patterns long thought lost in using electromagnetic currents and various genetic or mechanical bionic augmentation. Forge Mjorn as a minor Forge World at the edge of known space is highly advanced thanks to it's close proximity to the Tau Empire and their Xenarite factions has learned some of the secrets of the advanced technology to produce solely Human technologies.

Many of the Augmentations are exclusive to the Magos of Mjorn. In this fashion they are only seen with the Mjorn Skitarii and their allies. Much are options Mjorn Tech-priests use for the Mjorn Pattern Skitarii Classes that are unique to that Forge World. The Organicist faction of Mjorn is responsible for many of the Genetic and biological enhancements, a sub-sect of them however work with their Electromagnetic focused brethren to create the wonders of augmentation they have.

The Electro-priests of Mjorn are fanatical warrior Tech-priests who is able to wield powerful blasts of electricity as a weapon, which makes him a valuable member of the Mechanicus' Battle Congregations. On Mjorn they have discovered other ways to channel and develop the Motive Force of Electoos to further the Quest for Knowledge in developing some of the more exotic patterns of Mjorn.

Mjorn Pattern Electromagnetic Technology is a form of technology that is unique to the forge world of Mjorn. The Mjornian Priesthood has a specialty in using the electromagnetic spectrum in their technologies. This specialty has lead to the creation of patterns long thought lost in using electromagnetic currents in shielding technologies as well as offensive weaponry that disables vox communication or technology used by advanced xenos like the Tau who Mjorn are in conflict with constantly. Raymond Raven is an Adeptus Mechanicus Magos of the Divisio Digitalis and Divisio Biologis on Mjorn in the Ishtar sub-sector. He is part of the reason that the 487th Lunar Venatorii Cavalry Regiment is so technologically advanced. As the high ranking member of that division, he was able to authorize the creation and training for a Electro-Magnetic Warfare Section in the 487th as a favor his brother who is a Colonel of that Regiment. Arch-Magos Digitalis Raven is the second highest ranking member of the Cult Mechanicus on Mjorn and a firm believer of the Xenarites beliefs. As such he is dedicated to the study and exploitation of alien technology, a policy which most Tech-priests find highly offensive.

Donover Thet is a notable member of the Adeptus Mechanicus that hails from the forge world of Mjorn, serving as the Head of Industry for Velara. He is also a member of the radical and secretive sect known as the Xenarites, whose primary focus is on studying and using alien technology.

History

Donover was a young inexperienced factory Artisan on the planet new to the position of responsibility when the civil war started. Keeping his remote factory up and running he played the usual place of the Cult Mechanicus which was neutral in the affairs that didn't impact his domain. It was later discovered due to the out of the way nature of his factory that his factory was one of the last standing on the planet under Mechanicus control and even further that he was the highest ranking left. By the orders of his masters on the nearest Forge World he was to be elevated to Magos and oversee bringing the planet back into line for production, but with those orders came little actual support as this was a back-wood posting to begin with. His specialty in knowing the Velarian hardware made him useful to the planet and little else, due to coming up not on the Forge World but as a Velarian native he hadn't received a chance to learn the more advanced disciplines of the Cult. His Augmentations to date has been light for those of his positions with the obvious ones being his singular Mechadendrite and replaced left arm and eye.

Personality

His Personality is that of an attentive eager young man who uses logic as a bulwark against inefficiency. As a new head of Industry of a fledgling frontier world and his inexperience at command has made interesting developments in how he interacts with individuals. Thet has a tendency to refer to himself as this unit and other people as units for he finds value in everything as resource but people to him as still just biological machines with advanced processors. Thinking of second and third order effects Thet prefers not to use up resources if could extend their use to that degree he doesn't believe in over working his menials and prefers fostering a type of environment to where he can get the best out of the units that work for him. As an Artisan, sometimes called "Constructor," he is a Tech-priest who designs and builds new devices, edifices, spacecraft, weapons, technology and other Imperial military hardware.

Donover has yet to join a faction of the Cult Mechanicus, his position out on a Frontier world and separated from most of his kind has left him isolated and making more relations with his fellow heads of government than his Mechanicus brethren.

Relations

Magos Donover Thet as the Head of Industry on Velara, analyzed the incorporation of the minor noble house, having given them his patronage as more or less the sole representative of the Adeptus Mechanicus on the planet. He had scanned the data of what houses would be serve the Scions of the Machine God, and found a promising one. After the initial visit, which included much more social pleasantries than he would deemed efficient. Still, after a quick lecture on the sin of redundancy, he now found himself with a second base of operations along with the resources of the house and a few new promising tech adepts early in his career on Velara.

*Missionary Eleanor Bennett-Payne has developed a good working relationship with Thet as they collaborated on the new central chapel for the Capital of Velara. Thet provided engineering expertise and labor from his pool of people to build a grand cathedral for the God-Emperor with underground worship centers underneath devoted to the aspect known as the Omnissiah. Her position as the Head of the religion for the planet has made interesting times for the newly appointed officials.

*Colonel Craven Romanov was appointed head of security for Velara. With such a position he continuously works with Thet for arms and supplies to build a coherent force of Planetary Defense Force as well as develop fully armed troops to be given over to the Astra Militarum as the Planetary tithe. The combative nature of the man working to engage in several debates in the halls of the Planetary Governor as they work out what is reasonable in the name of efficiency.

*Governess Jenelia Varkelonus (Formely Baroness) negotiated on the behalf of Thet with the varying groups of Noble Houses that are the elite of Velara for a house to be aligned with his interests as a Baroness. Her acumen in the realm of political and social maneuvering and her support in his endeavors as the Head of industry has been invaluable to him and as such earned a degree of loyalty to her that is not usually seen from the Cult Mechanicus with outsiders.

So figured out the power and defense systems for the planet though, I am still figure out how to word it for wiki. Basically The planet's various Forge Temples, Dig Sites, and other facilities are powered via an array of Electromagnetic Generator Towers that harness the planet's Magno Sphere, those same towers can also pulse out Electromagnetic waves in response to an invasion to shut down, Guidance and Communication systems of the invaders and invoke storms to reduce visibility and make traveling through the Atmosphere quite dangerous. This is to divide and isolate the invaders making them easier chunks to deal with for once they land they are attacked by fast moving Cyber-Carnivores and Mechanical Abominations out of the storms and shadows. Letting the Skitarii Mop up.

Also:

Ranger Simon Yaraka: Born on Droch Fhiul research station run by Forge World Mjorn, Simon was chosen to become one of the Skitarius and distinguished himself in the service of the machine god. There he served at this highly classified station with Radical Inquisitors of the Holy Ordos and Xenarite Techpriests of Mjorn being recognized for his dedication. Often he would be sent on Heretek hunts or Archeotech/STC hunts. Simon got promoted to Ranger and has been further assigned to the Holy Ordos as a sign of favor to those he had worked with. Augmented with an Auspex installed in his brain, eye augments, bionic legs, and subdermal armor, He carries a silenced Galvantic Rifle and a shock maul which is a deviation from the usual patterns. A coded data-slate contains significant noble bloodlines in Askellon Sector showing possible mutation and xenos gene-grafting going back generations was entrusted to him by his Xenarite Master. Currently Unknown, So He was suppose to find out in a RPG setting but due to schedule conflicts, I had to drop from that game and I haven't figured out exactly what he was suppose to have found. It was a side story to the main line. Likely was probably something of the Former considering we were dealing with some Dark Eldar stuff and Chaos stuff.

Flak Armor Patterns

Ishtar Pattern Flak Armor

A light and relatively simple form of body armour. Used as standard issue body armour, many layers of ablative and impact absorbent material go into making each suit, enough to deflect or negate most low-level attacks such as small arms, shrapnel, and proximity blasts. Cameleoline fabric is incorporated into the outermost layer of Ishtar Rangers' fatigues to enhance their ability to conceal themselves. Mjorn produces the necessary fabric and technologies to integrate the Cameleoline with general STC Flak Pattern Armors making the Ishtar Pattern somewhat unique for their regiments.

Cogger Pattern Flak Armor

This Pattern is the mainstay of the Cogger Hive Guard is designed to use many additional layers and incorporate their rebreather masks. Developed by Mjorn Techpriests, this pattern has a lot of Mechanicus know how built into the varying layers to add protection at the cost of some mobility.

Arali Pattern Flak Armor

This cheap, rugged variation to typical Flak Armor Patterns is specialized for the Arali Siege Sappers. Bulk crafted for the regiments, small variations are enhanced for the officer families with the closest ties to the Mechanicus producers.

Dumizid Felinid Flak Patterns

The Dumizid Felinid Hellcats have several patterns of Flak Armor worn by various clans and variations of Felinid. Mostly these are slight variations of standards. Standardized priestly robes of the Ecclesiarchy are made for the enlarged frame of Lion Pride Solar Priests are worn over flak armor that are equally enlarged from cheap standard materials for basic protection. Tiger Pride Auxillia wear a similar enlarged Flak armor pattern with the addition a Grenade Discharger attached. Cheetah Pride wear specialized Flak weave Fatigues instead of the bulkier armor for ease of their mission set. Snow Leopard Pride wear Flak Armor that is more standard for Imperial Guardsmen for their lack of a need due to their mostly humanoid frame.

Carapace Armor Patterns

Venatorii Carapace Battle Dress

The mainstay of the Lunar Venatorii Cavalry Regiments is an Anti-Wicking Body Suit that extends up to jawline with Flak-Weave Combat Pants are worn with armored gloves and traditional cavalry boots. A Carapace chest, back, and shin plates are worn over these clothes. Over the Carapace is a Flak-Weave Duster Coat with rank epaulets. Covering the head is a enclosed Rebreather Mask and traditional Cavalry Hat with rank braids. Finally over the Duster Coat is a Gear Bandolier for power packs, combat knife, frag grenades, uplifting primer, combat rations, and medical supplies.

Dumizid Felinid Carapace Pattern

The Dumizid Felinid Hellcats have a patterns of carapace Armor worn by the clan variation of Felinid known as Lynx Pride. This enlarged Carapace is made for the bodyguards of important Astra Militarum and Adeptus Mechanicus personnel in the Ishtar Subsector. This is one of the rare time an abhuman gets any such kind of care but this was a mostly a gesture of the importance of their charges.

Additional Las Pattern stuff

Mjorn Issued M416b Long-Lasis a modified standard pattern Lasgun with an XC 52/3 strengthened barrel, which is both longer and thinner than the usual model. The strengthened barrel allows for increased range and greater accuracy. The rifle does not have a charge setting slider, instead employing specialized ammunition known as a hotshot power pack. The standard armament among the sniper cadres for Ishtar Rangers.

Besides the Mjorn unique patterns, the Forge World also produces their own Merovech Pattern Assault Lasgun as a standard for Cogger Hive Guard Mechanized Infantry which makes them excel in close environments off the base STC as well as M-G Short Pattern Lasgun as a standard pattern Lasgun used by the regiments of the Arali Siege Sappers.

For the Dumizid Felinid Hellcats their are variation las weaponry that don't conform to the usual lasgun and laspistol family of patterns. Specifically the las-spears of the cheetah pride clans are a variation created to make use of their unusual skills as pursuit troops. made to match the more feral weapons that is found on Dumizid proper, the Auxilia get replacements of these las-spears to make the troops more effective in the field.

The armor patterns demonstrate good imagination, but do they have a point beyond that? I'm specifically referring to their in-game impact. Does equipping Ishtar pattern flak armor make an in-game model count as one with a camo cloak- maybe a 5+ Cover Save, superior to what is achievable with a camo cloak alone, due to the armor's cameleoline layer? Does equipping Cogger pattern flak armor provide a 6+ Invulnerable Save, to reflect the "varying layers of added protection" you described?

Tiger Pride Auxillia wear a similar enlarged Flak armor pattern with the addition a Grenade Discharger attached.

Is the grenade discharger meant for smoke grenades with which to conceal the Felinid auxiliary's positions- in-game, provide a 5+ Cover Save on demand, or a 6+ Invulnerable Save if the armor has a machine spirit (onboard computer) that will automatically trigger the grenade discharger the moment it senses an enemy has targeted it?

If the grenade discharger is meant to be used offensively, I think it should be fitted to carapace armor instead, as the latter's solid plates can better brace the weapon to absorb recoil and increase accuracy.
