What I like to do is add nurgle's rot technical paint to the bases around the feet. It adds nice depth and the feeling that the plague marine's very presence is destructive to the environment.
Maybe you could try something like that? I just feel that the bases are a bit too clean if you get me

I love the bruised flesh colour on the latest guy without a helmet - its really effective, both as a contrast with the green and in showing that the guy really isn't very healthy.
Those are some sick looking Plague Marines! I'm hoping mine turn out half that good.
