No paint just yet but started to magnetize the weapons and portion out the painting steps. depthcharge12 Posted May 26, 2020 Author Share Posted May 26, 2020 Thanks guys! @schoon I had a buddy with a resin printer run me a batch of two of the heads I found on thingyverse. I’m a bit fan of them and I like the original Lucius-Alpha heads too. IMHO most of the mars pattern warlord stuff looks a bit too much like Questoris knights for my tastes, so I’m trying to branch out. I’ve got 2 warlords and 2 reavers I’m working on plus a commission I ordered, but lord only knows how long that will take with the Rona. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Seems 80’s flame pattern titans are all the rage around here :D maniple is a bit of everything since I like flexibility and the AT models are just so darn cool. Once I’m done I’ll have a Ruptura maniple and a Regia Maniple. Some work on the newest members as well as a new Sunfury plasma for the other. Magnetizing has got to be one of the biggest payoffs in the hobby for what a big pain it is lol. As for names, I have some already for some of the titans based on esoteric Eastern daemonology: Legio Fureans names Ifrit Tchue (Nemesis) Ascobal Djinn (Reaver) Marid Ammet(Nemesis) Foliot (Warhound) Horla (warhound) Ghula (Warhound) Still need names for two more warlords (in pics) and two other reavers. It seems like there are some issues with feathering around the edges. I've never used templates like that, as I prefer to paint the flames on by hand. But I believe you need a really smooth surface to stick them onto. I look forward to seeing more progress, as I think these are going to turn out great. I’m jealous of those that can freehand flames...I have the steady hand of a shell shocked kid hopped on Mountain Dew and roller coasters. I’m going to hopefully run into Vazzy for our Tuesday night Heresy smackdown so I can beat up his ultramarines and steal his Fureans STC transfers.
