[Typhus]

Hey guys, I posted a list awile ago after getting some new items and what not am looking for advise on my new list, am not ultra conpetative, but I wanted something at least that could make life interesting.

Looks like a good list. If I had one suggestion it would be to make your blight launcher squads 5 man units and bump up your melee squad to a 10 man unit. The 10 man combat squad will get more benefit from the new PA strats and those unit sizes make more sense of the transport capacity of the rhino.

Drop the chaos lord and once plague caster and make the daemon prince the warlord.

With the points saved take 2 more foul blight spawns.

DG have like 3 good powers, the rest of garbage.

Also maybe drop the other plague caster for typhus and spend 1CP for the re-roll 1's to hit strat on him...or play the legion where you get +1 to hit. This should help out your terminators

 

Would probably drop the poxwalkers for a 3rd blighthawler and make it a unit.

Dont worry about cover too much, so many things ignore it anyway

 

Also 9th is coming soon, you dont want units greater than 5 for no reason.

Drop the plague marines into 2 5 man units

Drop the rhino and make the combat squad as big as you can, you will be using cloud of flies on it anyway, so being big makes no huge difference.

Get rid of the combat weapons on the plague marines aswell...maybe keep the flails. You want to be shooting a metric but tone of S4 shots with plague weapons rule.

 

The drones, you may want to replace them with the PBC, they are not much more points, and with rules changes in 9th, are just superior. The only thing they dont have is fly, which is kind of pointless now anyway.

 

As for terminators, combi-plasma is the best way to go, drop the blight launcher and any left over points put into them.

Idealy you want them 10 strong. Rapid fire puts out 20 S8 AP-3 D2 shots, which you can hit on 2's re-rolling.
