Can’t for one minute believe that GW would allow us to purchase shiny new Primaris Ravenwing, only for them to be only able to call down Firstborn Deathwing from the teleportarium. While it does leave a little bit of a bad taste not being terminators, I’m not too upset. Better these guys than Aggressors. Aggressors have no place in the DW as they’re pretty much the Primaris equivalent of Centurion battle suits.im not against Gravis being in the DW, provided they are suitably blingy. Edit: plus they look boss in bone with green Aquilas. After all, even after another 100 years or so into the timeline there would only be one or two squads of them, short of any significant disastrous event for their Firstborn bretheren. Zebukkuk Posted June 18, 2020 Share Posted June 18, 2020 I have been painting bone white armour for some veteran sergeants and all Inner Circle members since 3rd edition. I'm glad GW is finally coming around to consistent paint schemes for Dark Angels. Hopefully they will extend this to members of the Inner Circle of the Deathwing who should have always had bone white armour with the broken winged sword icon, whether they wear Terminator Armour or not. Robbienw Posted June 19, 2020 Share Posted June 19, 2020 (edited) Its been consistent since the 2nd edition Angels of Death Codex came about 24 years ago. Since that came out, only the members of the Deathwing as a fighting company, as opposed to all members that have passed through it, wear the bone white. The chapter Inner Circle high command, who aren't actually organisationally part of the 1st company, have used chapter colours for Masters and codex specialist colours for Librarians/Chaplains since then. The DA Bladeguard will just be part of the Deathwing like DW terminators.
