Farewell to 8th game – need advise on set up

It has been some time since I walked these halls as I have not played my Dwarf Mechanicus sins 7th as I focused on other projects in 8th. However I did not want to let an entire edition pass without playing one game with them so have set up a farewell game for end of next week at a 1000p.

Another local player can lend me the codex for the evening however I think it would be better if I arrived with a plan/prewritten list so as to not waist more valuable play time on the evening

Therefore I would appreciate for and advise or list for a 1000p game, including forgeworld, warlord trait and relic suggestions based on the models I have:

2x Tech-Priest Dominus

2x Datasmith

3x Kastelan Robot with Heavy Phosphor Blaster in hands and shoulder

1x Kastelan Robot with fists and flamer

3x Kataphorn Breachers with Heavy Arc Rifle or Torsion Cannon

3x Kataphorn Destroyers with Heavy Grav-Cannon or Plasma Cannon

10x Vanguard, 2 with Plasma Caliver 1 with Omnispex

10x Rangers, 1 with Omnispex

- Run the kastelans without the datasmiths and just use the start to change their protocal to twin shooting

- You may want to drop the fist/flamer robot from the squad depending on points, but he could also work as a small charge deterrent.

- Kataphrons and Breachers you could buff a bit with one of the new warlord traits (depends if you have access to PA)

- Take heavy arc rifles rather than torsion cannons on the breachers (torsion with 1 shot just generally sucks at BS4).

Forgeworld choice - Id probably skip mars as you have no cawl, although the +1 S to heavy weapons will still help some of the army.

Stygies is my go to favourite as the -1 to hit is just great, and you get the pregame move strats (9" move), which may help you get those vanguard/rangers/robots where needed before the game even starts.

Relics - Autocadeuceus is always good an a tech priest to help make sure they are fixing things to their fullest.
