9th Edition Craftworld Changes

Striking Scorpion on Youtube released a post-embargo video on the new points which has been transcribed by someome on the Warhammer Competetive subreddit: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nYKpsM77UKA6DVGztslVfZf5w1Z0piKb1K-6txaQCcM/edit?usp=drivesdk

So while some points hikes look large, double check the wargear as that has likely become 0 and been rolled into the model's base cost making the final point hike much smaller.

EDIT: our FAQ is out as well so I updated the topic: https://www.warhammer-community.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/uQ89lG0mE4Hqq6K8.pdf

Yowzers, poor Aspect Warriors.  Guess they'll continue to be an albatross around your neck even if you take them in Casual games.

At least they didn't change the PL for narrative games.

Been reading the Goonhammer article (slowly since there is a lot to take in) and it looks like GW just used a formula for everything and fine tuned a few things, but otherwise just said "yeah, that'll do".

It almost makes me wonder if the fact they'll havethe app now might mean more constant balancing and points changes.  (I just made myself laugh there, we all know we'll still be getting Chapter Approveds)

EDIT:  I don't notice Shuriken Catapults up there in the points.  Duals, and Avengers.  But not regular ones.

Probably an oversight. Twin Catapults are 0, and I expect the same for the regular ones.

Wow, looks like GW really doesn't want to sell any of those new Banshee kits.

Banshees are Exhibit A against when people complain everything new is always overpowered to sell models.

The new Banshees (in 8th) were never even remotely good. I know, I tried them in competitive games often. It was a struggle to keep them in my list.... always a horrible performer.

But now? They are down right horrible in game.

My two squads shall sit in packing for a very long time.

Exactly.

And also my fear about others. Like, I doubt Swooping Hawks will end up better than the admech thingies in any way way. I'd be shocked if they're even relatively on par. And make them pay for it.
