This is how you do a re imagining. Higher, crisper detail. Keeping the theme and imagery the same, without throwing out any of the older design elements. Very nice stuff! Might pick a box up just for fun.

A buddy of mine used these guys for a high-tech gang in our very first game of Necromunda that got us into the hobby back in 2013. Will definitely be picking up some of these guys out of nostalgia!

And dont make them in a noticeably different scale to the rest of the reimagined ranges just for the sake of it either 😂
Honestly, these Wargames Atlantic releases are awesome and are really twisting the nips of whatever GWs weird reasoning is for not having multiple plastic Guard ranges. If a smaller manufacturer can manage, after all..

YES!!!! I freaking loved these when dreamforge released them back in the day! I was stupid and only bought one or two boxes, so I cannot wait to get my hands on more of these.

Oh awesome!!, I found a mint unopened box of these a month or two ago in a op shop for $20 Aus (a great deal) And put them aside in the hope That Eventually I’d find some more somewhere?!?.. they would make an awesome guard or scion platoon to add to an existing force.
This is great news,I’m glad they’re being re released !!
Mithril
++EDIT++ Wow they’re pre order deal is good 3x boxes for $95 .. that’s 60 troops for a little bit more than the price of 20 guardsmen from GW ...

This is awesome news! I was looking for these to use as Scions and was heartbroken to see they were discontinued. I'll definitely be picking up a box or two.

Matthew Leahy has been working away at the Grognard support weapons and specialists and command. Here's a preview of the heavy plasma gun with crew in bearskins (you'll be able to field crew in any of the four types of headgear with or without full face mask) More news on these this week.

I believe the new Grognard head sprue will be packaged with the old box as well soon.
Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends. There is a secret song at the centre of the world, and its sound is like razors through flesh.

They seem to be somewhat slighter than the old Dreamforge run, so I shall be curious to see how well they mix with Imperial Guard. Regardless, they'll compliment the Death Fields range nicely when it comes to mix-and-matching for Scions, Solar Auxilia and so forth.
I had not noticed, but yes, their thighs are thinner!

The Heavy Weapon teams and the command squad for the grognards (all part of the same kit, including female heads) will apparently be available in December with a pre-order starting soon.
Above you can see the 4 HW options that the kit brings and the wheeled support, as well as the tripod with which they can be assembled.
The dwarves and spider are already shipping from Australia and should be shipping from the UK and the US in the begining/mid of October, due to delays in the shipment from their factory.

Persians flash sale is going on:

Given the low price, it might be good for conversions, even though it is a historical kit.

Those could do well combined with some lasgun arms to make some penal colony troops or a militia/backwater unit.

From my experience with the afghans kit, the height is the same as IG humans, but the proportions are closer to the newer GW kits like the Traitor Guardsmen from Blackstone Fortress.
Cadian arms might look a bit big on them, but it is mostly because of the shoulder pads, not so much the arms themselves.
Obviously, I am assuming persians are similar in terms of scale, which seems to be the case so far with Wargames Atlantic.

I like those heavy weapons even though they're going to cost me an arm and a leg.
I'm guessing just 1 of each weapon per box? Haven't seen how the frames are set up.
If it was posted I guess I missed it.

It hasn't been posted here, but the boxes come with 3 equal sprues, containing 4 different weapons and 2 different supports (wheeled version or tripod).
You can thus make 3 of each per box, if you go with a single type of weapon support, to a total of 6 weapons if you use both carriages.
You have enough crew for 6 heavy weapons, so with both carriage types and 2 different weapons and 12 crew members, you can have a sizeable support force with just one box.
You can also make less heavy weapons and make a command squad.
Sprue layout below for reference
