Returning to 40k and B&C

Recommended Posts

I've dabbled in 40k since the start of 5th edition when I got my very first set, Assault on Blackreach. I was pretty young back then and over the next couple of years I built a modest space marine army and a small Sisters of Battle army (all that metal back then...)  I actually used to come to these forums back at around... 2010/11? Though I decided to make a new account for a new start.

After a few years I sold all those models as they were poorly built and painted by me.

Since then I started building a new army around 7th edition and now have a sizeable marine army again (still unpainted though I hope to change that). Although I never played 8th I did get some Primaris models around the time Dark Imperium released. I had gotten rather disillusioned with the hobby, at several points,  as medical issues meant that I have trouble with my hands and painting is very hard for me.

With 9th here I've got excited again and will try to follow through and finally get the army painted and played.

Welcome back, if you let us know your old account we can merge it for you

Dear lord. I was about 14 at the time. Like the necrons some things are best left buried...

Private_Angle, presumably?

Welcome Sergeant_Angle!

I remember there being a topic in the Forge somewhere about painting with shaky hands but I can't find it now. You can always ask there for tips and tricks, maybe someone else can find it.

No, you can create a WIP topic if you'd like but this would require extra work to keep up dated. My advice is to consider the intent of the topic - if you wish to focus on the model and painting side the Forge is the place to be. If you want to delve into the gaming side also then you will want the Ravenspire :)
