I still read alot black library But resisted restarting. The new edition has caught my eye so I decided to dip my toe back in. After reading CW scars they became a firm favourite so decided to go with them. I brought the new rule book and codex so I got a lot of reading matter to try and bring me upto speed. Johanhgg Posted July 17, 2020 Share Posted July 17, 2020 Welcome to the forum! I would suggest to start with a HQ and some troop-choises. Go with old Marines, primaris or mixed. Im using both old and primaris. Sgt.Sangha Posted August 18, 2020 Share Posted August 18, 2020 Hey im pretty new to the scars too i just finished up a 5 man assault squad with JP and I am working on a khan on bike and a 5 man tactical with plasma. Paint scheme is as follows: Primer: Grey seer Base coat: thinned Corax white Recess shading: karak stone followed by storm vermin fur followed by skaven blight dinge Edge highlight: white scar And squad/company/honour markings with mefiston red. Center eagle: mephiston red folloqed by contrast blood angel red followed by edge highlight of evil sunz.
