Dice engraver/maker options

I have really been looking forward to getting some dice engraved with a single logo and I just contacted Chessex about it. The price seemed really good at $60 for a hundred but then I was informed of the postage of 30+. I then realised there's a thing called import duties(The EU has its benefits) and that I could probably expect another 40+ again on top.

I was really looking forward to them but when we are talking 130+ I am now hesitant and was wondering if anyone knows of any European sellers or is Chessex just worth that huge amount of investment.

That's unfortunate, given Chessex's factory is in Germany (and possibly Denmark, although they might no longer be using that one).  I know one of the store staff in my local store had Chessex make some dice for them, and said they were pretty cheap, although they didn't expand upon that. :sad.:

That's an interesting question, and one I'm interested in the answer to.  I guess part of the question is, which Chessex dice are you looking to have customised?  Some of Chessex's designs are unique, and some are common to other dice manufacturers.  The Dice Maniac's Club has a section on ID'ing the manufacturer of dice, which might give you a list to look at..?

Thank you everyone for the replies, I have looked at all the companies mentioned and couldn't find anyone that offers the Gemini Red/Black that looks as good as Chessex. I definetly will check them out when I am not looking for a very specific colour. I am looking for some Killteam counter dice so...

Unfortunately their custom dice department is only in the US, I have no problem with the price to make the dice at all, they are offering a great deal but when faced with postage that is more than half the price of a 100 dice it leaves a bad taste that I am trying to shake.
