Good job on Dok Kutta.
Wolf Scout- Catachan barking toad eggs+ Thousand Sons Marine= Fun! (Wolves of Catachan)

Warhammer 40,000+ Star Wars- Rian Johnson- Reylo= AWESOME! (Knights of Renaissance)

Reasons to use the Steel Crusaders ('Codex: Space Marines' supplement) or the Iron-hearted Angels ('Codex: Blood Angels' supplement): Because you think giving Sternguard Veterans a heavy bolter wtih special issue HEAVY BOLTER ammunition is ALMOST as much fun as shoehorning an Earthshaker cannon into a Land Raider.

This is my favourite thread in ages! 😁
I'm going to have to steal your idea for Loudgob, but I was planning to do something like Sneaky, so I'm hoping that makes us even! 😜

Oh my...doc cutta... I would want to avoid getting hurt while out on mission with him ...!?! “I’m fine!, it’s just a scratch...ooohhh urk, no really I’m ok”
I like the use of the Scion med kit and the syringes are an awesome addition.

Cheers, Mithril

Burna is the team's Demolitions grot, and the final Specialist.  This was a relatively simple kitbash, taking a Grot Oiler from the Meganobz kit and combining his grease gun with a hand flamer from the Cawdor Gang from Necromunda.

Personally, I think they are coming. Like a massive electrified thousand ton ball of barbed wire with hundreds of trapped and frustrated gamers embedded in it, rolling down a hill. "That, Bilbo Baggins, is the sound of inevitability."

Do not suffer your zeal for the Chapter to lead you into argument with others.

Looking great!
So that’s all of the specialists done (10-11?) How many more standard grots are going to be fielded in this “Elite” killteam ?!..

Cheers, Mithril

Oh, it's not quite full yet.

Here are four typical members of the Grotlitariat - Stabba, Slugga, Stubba, and Snubba.  All were pulled together from the Gretchin kit, with a few added hits here and there.  Stubba, in particular, managed to loot some additional head protection.

Next up are the team's Ammo Runts:  Squib (top), and Dakka and Dragga (bottom).  Squib is a standard Gretchin with the Big Shoota backpack from the Ork Boyz box.  Dakka is from the Ork Lootas box, strapped to the back of another of Forge World's Gretchin Crew.

They actually started as a "two grots in a trenchcoat" concept and evolved into this.  The shell-dragging grot from the Forge World set was just too good to pass up.

MURFMI0l.jpg

Today's top performer is Twitch, now more calculator watch than grot.  The body, rivet gun, and battery are from the Mek Gunz kit.  The cybork arm is from another of Kromlech's Goblin Scrap Tank Commanders, the head is from the Shokkjump Dragsta, and the backpack is from the Ork Lootas box.

"For when you absolutely have to move 5+d6 inches as fast as you can."  The Grotgiteer is best when Advancing every turn, using a scatter die to interpret the will of Mork, and waving the model around while making rocket noises.  The body is from the Ork Stormboyz kit and the head is from an Ork Wazbom Blastajet/Bommer.  The model is cinematically suspended using an Assault Rocket Pack Smoke Trail from Figure Painters.

So...I love this! You have captured my favorite aspect of Orks. "We're ridiculous, but don't mess with us, cuz you might just get embarrassed.". ...it's kinda like challenging Prince to a basketball game, if you catch my reference...anyway lovely work. 'Ere we go!
Its, "space wolf," not "Space Wolf," or "SPACE WOLF," or "spacewolf" I'm the only Astartes cool enough to spell his name without capital letters! But if you're feeling decorous, you may add a "THE" in front of it.

As this project winds down, the next addition is the Banna Wava.  I took Makari, replaced his head with one from the Deffkilla Wartrike, and replaced his bosspole with a banner from the OOP Orc Warboss sprue.

It has something to do with the propaganda poster on Loudgob's base, which roughly reads, "Grots are not the property of the nobility".

Communist grots launching a revolution against Ork tyranny?! Assuming the Tau don't offer support (why would the blue blighters trust the grots to NOT eventually attack them, the way Orks did?) they should run and hide, or it won't be long before the Orks beat them down and then eat the poor grots.

The final member of this Kill Team is, of course, the Red Gobbo himself.  I made some effort to de-Christmas him, removing his beard and replacing his tree topper with a more appropriate sickle from North Star Military Figures' Frostgrave Cultists set.

With that, this little distraction has come to a conclusion.  Glory awaits on the 22x30!
