Not too much in hand by these standards

-almost finished on 4x veterans, company champion, land speeder w/ typhoon and HB

-1/2way done on company ancient and apothecary

 

still to start

-master

-(int.?) chaplain with jetpack

-int. chaplain in terminator armor

-5x DW knights w/ watcher

-5x DV deathwing

-DW champion, ancient, and apothecary

-RW land speeder vengeance

-3x DV bikers to be converted into part of a black knight squad and a RW character TBD

-mortis dreadnought w/ 2x dual autocannons

-bits for 2-3 techmarines

 

plus some extra veteran and mk iii bodies to be used as sergeants for more squads in the future. I think I'm about 1500 points in to some planned ~10k points, but trying to pace myself on things.

I have found a great way to reduce my pile of shame - he's 11 and is appropriating anything he can! 

 

I am working though my pile of shame, painting stuff green,.... Orks at the moment :S (and terrain)

There's also 25 odd sisters and a bunch those who shall remain nameless.

 

I won't go into what I'd like to touch-up/ re-do but thankfully I got through the 40x rtb01 beakies before we packed up to move! (Although they all need transfers!)

 

Hopefully new place will have space for a more permanent setup.

oh,... second edition stuff, didnt think of that.... :)

 

actually I dont have much 2nd edition stuff unpainted - think it is probably just an autocannon pred and some monopose, old style, spacehulk terminators. I started with Chaos back then.... mostly painted,... badly,... though I do have 20-30 metal diaz daemonettes plus 10 odd seekers somewhere (i stupidly sold belakor thinking he was a generic daemon prince) as I never could get the skin tone right

 

in contrast to my pile of shame, i do have painted

A full 3rd company with extra options for heavy/special weapons plus a few vehicles and dreads

At least 6x 5 man deathwing squads plus 1 DW landraider 

2x full ravenwing sqauds plus attack bikes

A smattering of Angels of Vengence that were a test  and few heresy era dark angels 

 

 

(and i have been painting recently. About 30 ork boys and a few lootas/burnas in the last month or so. 70+ models on this army to go....)

 

I, probably foolishly, plan for Indomitus to be my gateway back into Dark Angels. My son is already eyeing up the bikes though so i reckon we'll be getting at least one of the new starter sets at some point to 'share'. My daughter is eyeing up the necrons too - she is only just getting into painting - I've been feeding her Mortal realms magazine models to practice with. My wife,... is despairing

I'm starting to feel the itch to paint again - I want to finish off my orks but now I've been in the DA forums again......

Only 325? Clearly the support group is working for you. I killed mine with a flash remover, and now no other group will allow me to become a member.

Mine actually wasn't so deep, pre-Indomitus. 5 Infiltrators, a box of 10 Hellblasters, the Inceptors from Dark Imperium, the Shadowspear Suppressors, some assorted Primaris characters I'm not that interested in (mostly Ancients and Lieutenants).

 

Mind you, take away the DA limitation, and the pile gets a fair bit deeper!

I've got a good company or so remaining of Stoneburners, plus special characters & characters to convert, and then like a half company's worth of their Deathwalkers (1st Company), but only a few Boneseekers (2nd Company).

 

And an original box of Deathwing metal Terminators - that one has gone from the Pile of Shame to a display item all on its own though. Probably won't even touch that one now.

So due to multiple factors i missed indomitus but have managed to add the bikes, chaplain, judiciar, ancient, cpt, Lt. And eradicators to my pile - thankfully it was an "unwanted not scalp" set for a steal (considering what else is being flogged on eBay!) - now just need a few weeks to move etc and I can finally be back in a semi-productive mode again!
