50PL Raven Guard Crusade List

Greetings battle-brothers, 

 

I present you a Crusade list for an upcoming campaign. Please review it. Unfortunately I am locked with the models since those listed are the painted models I have, being Power Level though I can modify the loadouts easily. 

 

Batallion

 

Phobos Captain

Troops:

 

10x Infitrators (Helix Adept, Comm Operative)

 

5x Intercessors with Bolt Rifles

Elites:

 

3x Aggressors with Boltstorm

 

1x Redemptor Dreadnought with Onslaught Gatling Cannon, Power Fist, Flamer, Rocket Pods

 

Ranged Support:

 

3x Eradicators

Very cool list and quite similar to my own, though I guess you didn't start with the Vanguard box or you'd have some Eliminators and Suppressors.

 

The two things that stand out for me are a relative lack of anti-tank, and a lot of HQ and Troops. Back in 8th we'd really want to make this a Battalion, but you aren't maxing out on slots so you could save a lot of PL running this as a Patrol with just one or two Troops choices and a single HQ. I think the HQs are more like force multipliers for strong units so running three doesn't seem necessary. You did say you're stuck with what you've got though so not much you can do there. 

 

Note I don't think you can actually run both Helix Adept and Comms in the Infiltrators. I would consider splitting them into two 5-mans so you can better maximize their anti-DS bubble, and that'd give you room to run the Intercessors as one big squad. If you do that, you can use a Requisition Point to make them Veterans as opposed to needing to spend CP on it each game, and you can run Bolt Rifles so you get access to the Rapid Fire stratagem at full value (40 shots!) A melee upgrade on the Sergeant would be perfect in that case, like a Thunder Hammer which'd give you some more anti-vehicle support.
