Lord Lorne Walkier Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 I have recently become focused on 'Little' Horus Aximand and his sword, Mourn-it-All. I want to gather all the information on this legendary blade. I can remember reading a scene where the sword is given its name but i cant find it in my current search. The first time i can find that it is mentioned by name is in the Short story "Little Horus." From what i can gather, the only time before this Little Horus was in a story, was the opening Trilogy. Deadass Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 I think the name was simply introduced in Little Horus, just like you said - at least I can't remember the name coming up in the first three books. Since you want to collect all information on the sword, do you know it's made from a metal called Cthonian Bluesteel? The Source for that is Vengeful Spirit, I believe. Info like it was reforged into a daemon poison blade by Horus with the help of the Red Angel. I was hoping to find a scene, before this, where Aximand named his blade. I thought Horus just had it reworked after it was damaged on Dwell? Don’t remember there being any reference to the Red Angel making the blade daemonic.
